My advice is to just use poster weights or something in your photos. That way, you aren't adding damage to the posters and it will look good on you. This is coming from someone who has collected many posters throughout the years. Like, I would buy a poster that was slightly damaged but seeing tacks poked through it just makes me cringe! |

Those are not tacks holding up the posters in the photos they are magnets. It's in the description of each poster that they are magnets holding them up. There are some posters that do have pin holes, but it's very few. Thanks for visiting my store. |

Most people are hoping the Indy 5 Final Poster will be released through Disney Movie Insider here in the next few weeks. As to the Return of the Jedi Poster, it's being sold straight from the artist's page for $65.

Are you sure Matt is selling the one-sheet movie poster or is it his artist-proof copies of the screenprint that go on sale through Bottleneck?

Remember theatrical one-sheet originals are only printed once, most of the stuff you see on eBay are ones obtained from theaters, and then there are poster dealers who are able to obtain x amount as well. It is unknown if DMI will be offering any, if they do, people will put them on eBay and you may see a price shift downward but that will be a short term thing and a good time to buy if anyone misses out on it, the market will then dry up and prices will go back up. |

With regards to the double-sided one-sheet for ROTJ 40th, if you take eBay out of the equation as most (not all) of the ones on there are from theaters and conditions will vary, from a dealer's standpoint, MoviePoster.com has them currently for pre-order for $119.99. They were $89.99 yesterday so they already have raised their price by $30, and with any poster, supply and demand are one such factor when it comes to pricing. As their inventory number gets lower, their price will rise. I would not be surprised if within a week their price is up to $149.99. They are a legit dealer and I tell people if you want in one now, they are a good avenue to go down while the price is fairly low. I have no idea what mine will be priced at when I get them in, nor do I know how many I am getting so for those wanting one now, I refer them to MoviePoster.com as they are one of the few dealers with inventory on it. It may be something to consider for yourself, or if DMI offers it, you will see people getting them and flipping them on eBay and prices will dip downward for a short while until the market gets lean on them. |

That Japanese print is awesome, I love it. I just logged into my bottleneck account for the first time in a loooonnnggg time... my last order from them was 2014, oddly enough for Marko Manev Triptych's original trilogy Star Wars prints. Those still sit in my portfolio having never been framed, probably a good sign I don't need to order this one either. I do love a good timed edition though, great way to get prints into everyones hands who wants one. This was the only way to get a reasonably priced Olly Moss for me with his Dark Knight full bleed print.

I did see the auctions, just was curious what you were listing. Someone got a steal on that Avengers final style, generally it's the International final that dealers such as myself were able to get, you had the domestic and it didn't fetch what I thought it would, so you should have a very happy buyer. The Godzilla one you had was the International version, but it doesn't matter, the film has such a huge following and the print run was quite small for both the domestic and the international version, both same artwork, just the wording at the bottom is how to tell the difference. Congrats on your completed auctions!

I've had this Tyler Stout, Kill Bill screen print sitting in my portfolio for more than 10 years, could never find the right place to hang because if I'm being honest, the Red/Yellow/Black colour scheme is pretty garish... not exactly the print that compliments the rather conservative look of the rest of the house.
But this year when I finished the space under my stairs where my movie collection and projector and all my gear live I had finally found the wall to hang the pride and joy of my screen printed movie posters! I had brought home my Ken Taylor Tarantino collage from the office at the start of COVID and it was also looking for a place to live and now me two favorite Tarantino prints are hanging up together. I had a rather skinny wall entering under the stairs that was looking a little lonely so I framed up the collection of Olly Moss Star Wars Topps trading cards that were issues in 2012 to round out this trip to the framers and I thought I'd share! |
