A little late but Michael's is having the B1G1 on their frames this week. I snatched a bunch of the Trendsetters.
The backing isn't acid free but the framing lady there said they should be fine for a while if I just line it with some good acid free art paper. 2 sheets of $2.79 paper for each frame. Who am I to argue? ![]() At this point I'll never be able to afford doing them proper with museum quality etc and I'd rather get them on the wall now to enjoy them. If they get F'd up so be it. At least we got to look at them. ![]() |

Still it isn't that uncommon for a teaser poster to be released a year in advance as sometimes a film will have a teaser a year or so before the film opens. Movies like Hannibal, Transformers, and others have had teasers released a year before the film was released, so this could be the teaser poster artwork early. I would not be surprised if we see a brief teaser trailer attached to either Green Lantern in mid-June or with Harry Potter in mid-July (GL makes more sense though) and possibly this will be the poster. Anyways, when I hear anything I will let everyone know. |

Kind of a poster question, but does anyone know of a good way to go about making my own poster? There's an image I'm looking to get made into a fairly large poster, but I don't want the image quality to wind up degrading when it's enlarged. Any idea?

What kind of source image are you working with? That will likely dictate how large of print you will be able to produce. If it is a digital image you found online it will need to be a rather large, high resolution image to begin with in order to get any size too it, if it is a graphic file that happens to be in a vector format then you would really be in luck as you can get those printed at any size. Let us know what you're starting with and we can go from there.

One thing you need to be careful of is the copyright. Most places won't take a copyrighted image and enlarge it, as there are legal ramifications if they do it and get caught. I know Kinko's and Staples are pretty strict about enlarging copyrighted material. You can try looking online for an enlargement/reproduction already, there are dealers who specialize in making unauthorized reproductions of stuff, but eventually they will get caught themselves.

The prices for Kill Bill were holding steady online, I believe because fans were waiting for T.S. to release his, which are signed and numbered, the ones that were initially sold through Alamo were only numbered. Now that the lottery is over, prices may go up, as most collectors want the signed and numbered ones over just the numbered ones.
