Yes the Dark Knight trailer is on Potter. It also has the new Sherlock Holmes 2 trailer. I watched that one last night. It looks okay but I was never a fan of the first movie. I did like seeing Jr. wearing makeup and lipstick.

Did you watch the Dark Knight Rises trailer as well? I did find out today the first official teaser poster is expected next week, or the week after in theaters.

Regarding Sherlock Holmes, I felt the first film would have made a better "second" movie. I would have preferred the first film to develop more of the characters on how they came to be, how Holmes and Watson first became partners, etc. I enjoyed the film but it would have made for a better sequel than a starting point.

Nope did not see the Dark Knight Rises trailer. They are sending it on a flash drive that Thursday of the midnight show so people can't watch it early. I think it was a smart move on their part.

I saw the first 5 min of Sherlock Holmes. I fell asleep I took that as a sign it was not that great. I should try to watch it again at some point. I kind of feel you on the development of characters. I love Batman Begins so much more than the Dark Knight.

Just send you a PM. MoviePosterShop.com is basically MovieGoods under another name, they mostly sell reproductions, in all sizes, if anyone wants to purchase authentic originals, that isn't the place.

I fell asleep during GI Joe, even though I was a big fan of the Marvel Comics series from the 80's and even the cartoon, the film itself was awful. Yes, there is a lot of secret surrounding Dark Knight Rises, so that doesn't surprise me about the trailer being sent on a USB card.

Best thing about GI Joe was that quick clip of Brendan Fraser driving the golf cart. Looking at the cast I see that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was in the movie. I don't remember seeing him. I have been dying to see his last movie Hesher. The movie only played at 10 theaters.

Gordon-Levitt played Cobra Commander, so you technically would not have seen him since he was masked.

my local indie theater had a sale yesterday to clear out over 25 years of real posters at only $5 a piece.
I managed to get the one copy of Mulholland Drive!

I want that new Dark Knight Rises poster. I learned my lesson with The Dark Knight and trying to get it at a local theater...

Off topic, I did manage to get a Super 8 poster at the local theater. The edges are banged up, but I can't complain since it was free!!!

For those who haven't seen it, below is the image of the advance style "A" movie poster for Dark Knight Rises. I am referring to it as style "A" because there will be more advance styles. Probably will easily win poster design of the year, in my opinion. It should hit theaters by Friday as well.

The problem collectors face when trying to get a poster from a theater is typically the theater managers and employees have first grabs at it, and also technically theaters aren't supposed to give them out, as some tend to enforce that policy while others don't seem to care. But the big problem if a collector wants a mint to near-mint condition one is that theaters posters don't tend to be in the best of condition. Remember since the distribution hubs for the studios only consider them to be promotional material that will be hung up in a theater, they aren't packaged very well and usually they shift inside the flimsy tubes they are placed in causing edge wear from sliding inside the tube. This isn't the case for every poster, but it happens more often than you think.

Also for those looking forward to the "prequel" to the John Carpenter masterpiece The Thing, which is also being called "The Thing" below is the advance teaser style movie poster. Film opens in October and while I will probably see it, I don't have very high hopes for it, I would have preferred a sequel than a prequel. Nice poster though...

Looks like two advance styles for the upcoming "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" film that comes out later this year. I somehow figured they would do this, since they did two character advance styles for the first film.
