Thanks for the update...wasn't aware of MC having Breakout and The Stone Killer. I also saw, after my original post, the apparently KLSC says they don't have any more Bronson films so not sure who'll release the other titles.

True. Just make sure to keep any eye out for when they drop it from 3 per customer to just 1. I'm sure they'll still have copies by next month, it's just really not a popular film.

I don't know about that. It has been #1 in SAE's weekly sales top 10 for awhile. Even as a pre-order. It only recently fell to #4 due to the newest pre sells. I doubt it will ever fall out of the top 10 until it sells out. To me, that's a popular movie.

How do we know that the count is still high? Maybe they're leaving it at 3 per customer until closer to sellout, its not written in stone that they can't. Same with Journey and Moon men

They said it sold more than half already but if it was below 1,000 they would probably life the 3-per-customer limit and put it down to 1-per-customer. That's what they usually do anyway. So people are assuming there are more than 1,000 left.

Zardoz had a run of 5000 copies and I believe there were earlier posts quoting TT that if they had only had 3000, it would have sold or been close to selling out already. Not sure if that's accurate or just rhetoric to get people to buy, but if true it would have made it one of the fastest TT titles to sell 3000.

Apparently in that guy's definition of the word, it's not popular unless it sells out in the first month regardless of number of copies made (aka, about 10 of the movies they've ever released were "popular").

That's cool. It probably won't be as good as the Arrow in terms of supplements, but usually TT does a film justice when it comes to the technical presentation of the films themselves (about as good as master allows). Granted there are times where that's not the case, as in 'The Fury', but that's because it's a completely different (and superior) master used by Arrow.

I thought the studios like Sony give TT the master? They don't work on the film like Criterion, Arrow, or Synapse. Do they?

Twilight Time does not do restoration work, the studios supply them with the masters, which for the most part are very good.

Any chance of getting The Heroes Of Telemark (1965) on blu-ray from Twilight Time?

I'd love to see that. The Carlton DVD in the UK has some terrific extras, including on location interviews with Anthony Mann, Kirk Douglas, Richard Harris, Michael Redgrave & Ulla Jacobsson, original location reports and trailer, but the transfer is a brightness-boosted edge enhanced mess. Columbia's vanilla US DVD transfer is a little dark but is much, much better and definitely the only version that looks like it would benefit from a Blu-ray release.

Still hoping for Affair in Trinidad and You Were Never Lovelier this year.

Been waiting a long time for Girl, Interrupted to get a blu-ray release as well. Does this seem like a Twilight Time title or does anyone think Sony will actually release it themselves? The iTunes version looks ok but obviously very compressed.

Sony is nearly impossible to predict anymore with their catalog titles. I wouldn't exactly be surprised if they did license it to Twilight Time though.

I've been wanting this on blu along with the 1994 version of Little Women also thru Sony. I was hoping TT would get Little Women as a release near the holiday season. I always think of the movie during Christmastime.

Yeah you are right. I guess with Zardoz it's one of those titles where if I miss out on getting it, I won't be too broken up about it.

Well it's To Sir With Love that's the free signed blu this Wednesday. Was hoping it was U Turn but at least it wasn't something I would usually never purchase like When the Wind Blows.

The Blue Max will be one of the four to get the freebie. Thinking might as well get U Turn and stop putting it off. Definitely going to pick Mississippi Burning but the last pick I'm not sure. I've been wanting to get Judgment at Nuremberg and Breaking Away, but The Bounty is interesting as a blind buy. Any suggestions?
