So I placed a sale order on monday and still have not received a shipping confirmation. Should I contact customer service or is it typical for things to ship out around a week after the order is placed?

I don't normally post the inside booklet art and the back covers but may start doing so in the future as TT announces them.....I think these for December are pretty cool and definitely build excitement for the releases. I like the information on the back covers. I did not realize that The Bullet Train was the basis for the 1994 Hollywood film Speed, or that legendary cinematographer Jack Cardiff (The Red Shoes, Black Narcissus, The African Queen, The Dogs of War) was the cinematographer for The Barefoot Contessa.

It's amazing how fast these movies sell out once someone posts a really low quantity alert (thanks for your updates).

I prefer the previously shown cover for THREE WORLDS OF GULLIVER. This latest one just looks like a censored ass or crotch shot.

I'm still psyched about the release, however.

I think that's just the booklet.

Imho all the $7.95 sale-priced Twilight Time titles are completely worth it at this price. But, for those considering those that remain (Philadelphia just sold out today), here are some personal ranked recommends for the remaining titles....

1. Oliver!
2. The Other
3. Drums Along the Mohawk
4. Bonjour Tristesse
5. The Wayward Bus
6. Jane Eyre
7. Royal Flash
8. The Disappearance
9. Mindwarp
10. Swamp Water
11. The Only Game in Town
12. The Roots of Heaven
13. Beloved Infidel
14. The Rains of Ranchipur
15. Rapture
16. Desiree
17. Pony Soldier
18. Lost Horizon
19. Alamo Bay

Obviously YMMV! I think some people here would rank Rapture #1, which is just fine. The subject matter is just not my cup of tea....

Currently own 50 Twilight Time titles . Not as many as some of the guys here but not too bad. I do have a few prior releases that I need to get...plus a bunch of upcoming titles as well .

Also stoked that it came in TT's trademark "clear" case, which looks so much classier than the traditional blue one.
Hmmm, I think Philadelphia is definitely a great movie, just not one I would normally watch a bunch of times and own.

Strictly speaking, it's not typical for an order to take that long. However, SAE is a very small operation, and between the deluge of orders from the sale and the Thanksgiving holiday, getting the orders put together and shipped out is going to take a while. And I imagine the fact that pre-orders for the December releases will go live this coming Wednesday isn't going to make things any easier.

I made a 12-title order on Friday the 18th, and it's still pending. I'm not worried about it.

Granted my opinion only comes from one viewing which was quite a while ago, but I found it a bit mawkish and completely bereft of any tone of subtlety or ambiguity. I also found Hanks' performance lacking (Denzel is much better here) and only award-wining due to the controversial nature of the role at the time.

I'm excited (wrong word choice?) to revisit it though.

See my comment two posts above yours.

Of course, if you're just being funny (given that 11/27 is today, and it's unlikely that an order would be shipped today under any circumstances), then "never mind".

My order of 11/20 hasn't shipped yet, so don't worry
I expect it would take some more time, especially with the Thanksgiving weekend.

My order of RAPTURE from the TT sale arrived yesterday from SAE.

However, my SAE preorders for BOSTON STRANGLER and PRETTY POISON are still "Pending."

I think SAE is overwhelmed by the sale which landed when they are trying to get new releases shipped. Plus the long holiday weekend. I would imagine they will get on a steady schedule next week.
