Has anyone seen the HD broadcast of The 3 Worlds of Gulliver? I'm going to assume the scan that Sony did is very similar to the quality of the other Harryhausen movies TT has released. I just watched a few minutes of the old DVD I have and wow was it rough. I think this new bd is really going to look amazing.

Although I haven't received an email notification from SAE, my orders list on their website now specifies a tracking number for BOSTON STRANGLER/PRETTY POISON as of today. My preorder was originally placed on November 2nd, so this has taken some time.

I received my tracking number for my pre-orders today as well (Moby Dick, I Want To Live, Boston Strangler and Moscow On The Hudson).

Still waiting for my eight-title sale order to ship that I ordered on the 18th, but my backlog of stuff I've received and haven't watched yet is such that I'm not in that big of a hurry.

And, of course, we have another round of pre-orders coming up here on Wednesday. I may sprinkle in another sale item or two along with those (Oliver)

It's going to get even more chaotic come Wednesday throwing December pre-orders into the mix.

For those who were assigned tracking numbers did you receive an email or did you find out logging into your account?

Edit: Looks like SAE has shipped my order out today. Had to log into my account to find out. ETA By Thursday I would think.

Really looking forward to the TT release of The Keys of the Kingdom. For those who don't know this film, I recommend it highly. It was Gregory Peck's first big starring role, and he did a wonderful work right out of the gate. And this was one of the prestige productions by Fox for 1944, which is evident in every detail. It was directed by John Stahl (Imitation of Life, 1934, Leave Her to Heaven, etc.), Cinematography is by the Oscar-winner Arthur Miller (The Rains Came, How Green Was My Valley, Anna and the King of Siam, The Razor's Edge, The Gunfighter, etc—going back to the Perils of Pauline in 1914), written and produced by Joseph Mankiewicz, music by Alfred Newman, etc.

Anyway, Nick Redman said on TT's FB page that the new restoration looks very good. I plan to pre-order The Keys of the Kingdom.

I have had several conversations with SAE about my TT order....they keep saying they are overwhelmed and they're trying to get orders out this week. It took almost 3 days to get a reply to my email.....

Just another reason to order via TT....this is ridiculous!

Yep. It has been on the Sony HD channel and it is every bit as nice a transfer as "First Men in the Moon." Sharp as a tack, vibrant colors. Some of the expected issues with process shots, but fabulous overall. If this is the source of TT's release, we will not be disappointed!

No email notification for me. I logged into my account today and discovered the tracking number for my order (a preorder placed way back on November 2nd). Some progress is apparently being made.

I ended up going bust on an order of 33 films placed on 11/16 because my debit card was set to expire on 11/30 and I had to reactivate a new card yesterday. I triple checked with my bank, but my money was never taken from my account on the first order. If SAE tries to finalize the order now, no dice...

Luckily on the 33 film order I only missed out on In Like Flint, but I re-ordered all the films in series of smaller orders (8 films each rather than one huge order).

I have another order of 25 films placed on the 16th that's still pending, but on a card that's still active. My money still hasn't been deducted. If that order doesn't go through I miss out on Major Dundee, Sexy Beast, Cover Girl, Nicolas & Alexandra, and The Sound and the Fury. But being the fanatical collector that I am, I doubled down and bought those five on Amazon. If my order of 25 films ships, I guess I'll end up a reluctant seller of duplicate TT films (not an intentional one).

Three of my smaller orders of 7 and 8 films I placed back on the 17th and 18th have shipped and arrived. My suggestion to others would be to limit order sizes to fewer than 10 films as a precaution.

I ordered the first day of the sale before they got flooded and mine shipped the next day or two and I got them last week. Pretty cool, but I guess they're under a deluge now.

Forgot Dogs of War. Should have ordered that. Oh well.

Edit: Screw it, ordered that and Under Fire. I think I now own every TT title I am interested in, or have them in overseas editions. I'd get Heaven & Earth if the PQ wasn't shite.

Still waiting for my copy of St. Valentine's Day Massacre to ship a week after I placed the order (my third sale order) but I'm in no rush. Got a crapload of stuff to get through first .

First time ordering from SAE, placed an order for Broadway Danny Rose on 11/20 but still no shipping confirmation. Is that normal?

Pretty normal during this type of sale (especially considering this is the best TT sale that's ever been put on).

I placed my order with SAE on the 16th and it is still not even sent.

If a company cannot fill an in-stock order after two full weeks then something has gone terribly, terribly wrong.

I watched Under Fire yesterday, for the first time. I think it compares favorably with The Year of Living Dangerously and Salvador. I very much enjoyed it. If you like political thrillers, or something along the lines of a Costas-Gavras film, I'm sure you will too.
