I love my copy of Bell Book & Candle. It was a blind buy and ended up being one if my favorites. Love it when things work out like that.

You can see the dates as part of the search, the cut off always seems to be about 3-4 months -- which can actually be a problem if you're trying to gauge a true market value for something that is rarely offered for sale. That is a great time to get some fantastic deals on things, and a terrible time to sell anything. This year, I got an OOP Lubitsch DVD that tends to sell for $50 or more for something like $12 because the listing ended around noon EST Christmas day. I almost felt bad for the seller. On the other hand, we're about to head into a time when it is much better to be a seller than a buyer, because around tax season, there's an influx of buyers with extra disposable income.

Oh yeah, definitely. I think, in this case, my idea of buying an unsealed copy is probably a bust, though, they don't seem particularly cheaper.

Just realized these release next Tuesday. That seems like a really fast turn around. Aren't preorders usually at least a few weeks before? Im not complaining in any way just seems super fast lol which is good.

BTW I wonder if there is any chance of TT getting Out To Sea. I love Lemmon & Matthau at all stages of their carrers.

The release date for these titles have been changed to April 18th as per the TT site.

I gave up on buying Twilight Time titles. Most of the movies end up being released in other parts of the world by difference companies at significantly lower prices and sometimes with better extras.

(Case in point: recent Twilight Times I bought--Hard Core and The Last Detail. And all the Woody Allen films can be easily purchased in box sets or separately from England at much lower prices.)

No more Twilight Time exclusive, limited-run Blu rays.

I've had region free players for years and I finally decided to save some dough.

I suppose...thankfully the DVD isn't too shabby. But yeah...Wonder if Buddy, Buddy will get released.

Maybe, maybe not. Those early half-dozen Paramount films of Wilder's are controlled by Universal. While they aren't exactly gangbusters when it comes to releasing deep catalog stuff, they do get some of it out. Including one of those early Paramount Wilder's: Double Indemnity. I'm actually surprised they haven't released The Lost Weekend here yet (Eureka released it in the UK).

I just picked up The Fury for $29.99 shipped on eBay which is basically like I bought it straight from TT lol things like that NEVER happen to me EVER.

Isn't the Arrow UK remaster available region-free in Australia or something? It looks a loooooot better than the TT. Not attacking TT or anything, no one take offense please. Just trying to help a member.

Well, it's too late to help him, but yeah. That is probably part of why the TT is still normal price.
