I've been eyeing The Disappearance and Only Game in Town for years but felt that the price was just too high for a blind buy of either, so I went in principally for those two and also threw in Violent Saturday, Song of Bernadette, Wayward Bus, Beloved Infidel and Mindwarp.

The Disappearance looks like a cool movie.

Bear in mind folks, it's the DVD of Violent Saturday not the blu-ray that's part of the deal.

Is the autographed copy blu ray free with $120 m/purchase or does the actual movie have to be added in to get the autographed copy?

I've never tried to get one, I'm unsure of this, I only ask since I happen to be making an order that would qualify right now.

Thanks!

Add the $0 signed copy to your cart and make sure you have the required amount in TT titles, must be TT titles and not others

I'm kinda hoping that when TT gets desperate with their (over)stock that titles on the 7 for $70 list are added to. The sale doesn't have an end date, and they want them to sell out, so...

Mindwarp is terrible but I would buy it for $10. Don't want the other 6 though so oh well. They should really drop some super slow selling titles to $20 to get rid of them, like Mindwarp.

Watched First Men in the Moon today, and I didn't like it that much compared to Journey to the Center of the Earth. The special effects were awesome, out of this world.

MARTIN 31:

My biggest negative about FIRST MEN IN THE MOON is that Harryhausen's creatures and special effects don't appear until the last part of the movie.

Among the movie's trivia roles are Peter Finch as the bailiff and Laurence Herder as the UN Russian official who also appeared as a Russian in FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE (embassy employee), YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE (cosmonaut) and PATTON (interpreter). He was also in GOLDFINGER (mobster).

That's what they said "This is a one-time “package price” of seven titles until they are gone." but you never know, it could end whenever they feel like and they could say that was all they had for the sale. I would not wait much past the weekend.

They should have a one day sale where we can pick any 10 movies for $100. Talk about a nice package

Pass.
Considering Zelig has an IMDB score of 7.8, Rotten tomatoes Tomatometer of 100% and 88% liked it.....so it is among one of the better films they have the rights to.

And it just came out.....but I'm sure it was all a rhetorical question and you knew all of this.

Picked up the following for $70:

BELOVED INFIDEL
HIGH TIME
THE RAINS OF RANCHIPUR
THE SONG OF BERNADETTE
THE SOUND AND THE FURY
VIOLENT SATURDAY
WOMAN OBSESSED

I don't have any of these titles so it was a no brainier.

Of the 14 titles listed, I have 7 (counting the blu-ray of Violent Saturday rather than the DVD).

Of the 7 that are left, 4 are definitely on my want list. Given that getting these 4 would cost me more at any other time -- even during one of their $10-off sales -- than getting all 7 now, this is definitely a bargain.

While I wish The Kremlin Letter and Woman Obsessed were BDs rather than DVDs, and I'm rather dubious about Mindwarp, I figure I'm essentially getting them free. So...

I received shipments today from both TT and SAE. Their August slate of titles is one of their best.

Ach, not sure if I want to participate in this. I can see a couple of titles that I do find curious (Pony Soldier, Mindwarp, and Wayward Bus), but never bought them until now and not sure if I should get them. I can find 7 from the list that I would take, but may hold off and see how I feel.
