While I wish The Kremlin Letter and Woman Obsessed were BDs rather than DVDs, and I'm rather dubious about Mindwarp, I figure I'm essentially getting them free. So...
It's almost like we have different taste or something.

In any event I got American Buffalo and Killer Elite today. Killer came in the old blue case, which is fine.

Anyone know if TT plans to do a BD of one of their early DVDs -- The Left Hand Of God (1955) with Bogart and Tierney?

Tony Rome / Lady in Cement arrived today.

After a challenging week at work, it's jumping straight to the top of my unwatched pile for some R&R over the weekend.

For those who care (I don't particularly), it came in a clear eco-case.

As announced on the HTF:

I WANT TO LIVE! (1958) BLU-RAY - November 15th

MOBY DICK (1956) BLU-RAY - November 15th

MOSCOW ON THE HUDSON (1984) BLU-RAY - November 15th

PRETTY POISON (1968) BLU-RAY - November 15th

THE BOSTON STRANGLER (1968) BLU-RAY - November 15th

GRAN BOLLITO (aka BLACK JOURNAL, 1977) BLU-RAY - November 15th

STARDUST MEMORIES (1980) BLU-RAY - December 13th

NICHOLAS NICKLEBY (2002) BLU-RAY - December 13th

THE BAREFOOT CONTESSA (1954) BLU-RAY - December 13th

THE KEYS OF THE KINGDOM (1944) BLU-RAY - December 13th

THE THREE WORLDS OF GULLIVER (1960) BLU-RAY - December 13th

A bit of a dull selection for me but then I already have THE BOSTON STRANGLER and MOBY DICK and I'll wait for Arrow's cheaper disc of STARDUST MEMORIES. I'm also disappointed by any month that doesn't include THE FORTUNE COOKIE, ROBIN AND MARIAN or JABBERWOCKY.

That said, I'm in for THE BAREFOOT CONTESSA and GRAN BOLLITO sounds absolutely insane! Max Von Sydow playing a woman who gets murdered by Shelley Winters and turned into soap!!?

I imagine GRAN BOLLITO is going to get a lot of blind buys (count me in). I'll be picking up PRETTY POISON and THE BOSTON STRANGLER as well.

Has TT confirmed that they have ROBIN AND MARIAN and JABBERWOCKY?

No, I don't think so. Just wishful thinking. But they have, I believe, confirmed THE FORTUNE COOKIE.

Actually, PRETTY POISON does sound good. May get that as well; and MOBY DICK, if it looks better than the Australian release.

Interested in Moby Dick and The Three Worlds of Gulliver, but a bit disappointed that Alien Nation will not come before next year.

For me, a pretty lackluster couple of months. MAYBE Moby Dick but I'll await reviews on the transfer

At first glance, Moby Dick and The Three Worlds of Gulliver are slam dunks (for me). I Want To Live!, Stardust Memories and The Boston Strangler are high on the list too.

We knew it was coming but it's good to have an official date for Three Worlds of Gulliver. One less Harryhausen to worry about, hopefully the collection will be complete soon enough.

I Want to Live and Pretty Poison are the two of the most compelling releases from TT in a very long time.

Pretty Poison has been out in Germany and Australia for a few years now (both region free). I wonder if Twilight Time will add any unique supplemental material to theirs?

I'm hoping they at least port the Noel Black commentary from the R2 DVD.

Pretty Poison is one of the films covered in a pretty good book I read last year called Hidden Horror, covering lesser-known movies that the authors felt passionate about. I am looking forward to seeing it.

Stardust Memories and 3 Worlds of Gulliver are obvious insta-buys for me, as someone that's fairly indiscriminate about classic Woody Allen and Ray Harryhausen. Zelig is the only one I'm not interested in buying!

Three must-buys for me in Moby Dick, Stardust Memories, and The Barefoot Contessa. Possibles include Moscow on the Hudson and Pretty Poison.

I do hope that The Barefoot Contessa gets cleaned up. Last time I saw it on TCM, it didn't look so hot.

I feel the same way about Woody Allen and Zelig. To me, the film is a one-joke comedy. It's like one of his New Yorker stories that goes on too long.

Wow! That means there wasn't 1 title I wanted released by Twilight Time this whole year. (I remember their first year I bought about 10 titles)

They have the blu-ray rights to dozens of titles which I would like to see released but they are just sitting on them - for years now - Why don't they just give up the rights to a company that will release them?????
