Appears they need to offer a "train" bundle.

I'd be in on that if they also released Disaster on the Coastliner

Because the Blu-ray market pales in comparison to the DVD market. (non-rhetorical answer)

This. It's the least "Scorsese" Scorsese film in his career. It's similar to Kubrick not really claiming Spartacus.

I'm not sure it's his least Scorcese film. Corman gave his directors a lot of artistic freedom. Corman hired the cast (who were all excellent, at least the four leads) and instructed Scorcese to bring it in 24 day under a tight budget, while managing to show some on-screen skin every 15 pages of script. Other than that, Scorcese was free to film it the way he saw fit. I think there's a lot of Scorcese touches and I think it stands up better than some of his later works.

There's an excellent blog post from 2008 that discusses some of the films merits (spolier alert!!!):

mooninthegutter.blogspot.com/2008/02/overlooked-classic-of-week-boxcar.html

In any event, if he didn't want to talk about the film, he could at least talk about the music in the film, which he chose.

It was a comment to say it has nice cover art, but since I own the Arrow I don't need to buy it. Don't assume nefarious intentions in every shadow. Often I would re-buy for a region A copy, but not for $30 with the same transfer.

Why does Twilight Time have Love and Death in the going fast section of their website?

True, I also didn't realize at the time it features a new commentary track. I used to own the Arrow myself and watched it once and then sold it off. I didn't think it was bad but I figured I'd never watch it again.

Probably because it's selling well. Of course, they probably don't have as many copies as SAE, so it's not likely going OOP anytime soon.

The Arrow is out of print now apparently, it's a tempting thought to sell it and get the TT and make some money off the switch. Maybe I will do that. I love Arrow releases but TTs are almost as good. Would be nice having a region A copy too.

Did you pre-order from the TT site or from SAE?
