I sent a polite e-mail requesting information about the orders still pending. Here is my quick response back from them:

Good morning,

We just received our stocks finally yesterday afternoon. All orders have been prepared and are within the shipping department and will ship today.

Sincerely,

Katie

Regarding the shipping discrepancy, here's the answer I got:

"Apparently, USPS raised their rates recently. It was not being reflected on our webpage. Because I raised the issue, it was updated this evening.

You can find the new shipping rates here:

http://www.twilighttimemovies.com/shipping-returns/

I apologize for the inconvenience."

Chances are probably zero. It seems fairly obvious that the intent of this sale (as for all of their sales) is to reduce the stock on hand of the older, slower-selling titles. The most recent release in that selection of titles is from three years ago.

Looks like my copies of 9 to 5 and Remo Williams have been picked up today (ordered from SAE), so should have them sometime next week.

From TT's Facebook page:

Just a heads-up that THE BULLET TRAIN (1975) has been postponed, so it will not be included with the October pre-orders going up on September 28th...we are expecting it to be coming out of the station again later this year, so keep checking this page for details...

I thought the sale would run until the stock of those titles was depleted. It's a clearance sale.

Man, the cover art for the October releases are awesome. I think it's the first time that each new release didn't have at least one so so or below average cover art. I know it's a subjective thing and others may disagree. Let's rate the top 5.

Cover art (Not the film)

1. Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte
2. Runaway Train
3. The Train
4. Boxcar Bertha
5. The Chase

I think the Hush, Hush cover is a all time great.

My 9 to 5 arrived today. I bought mine from TT. One of my Top 10 films that I never thought would get a blu release. Between this and Valley of the Dolls on the 27th Im in blu heaven. Now if the bluray gods would just give me Klute & Lady Sings the Blues I'd never beg for another release lol

Wrote about it in the thread. Pretty solid for an MGM catalog title.

Well, I was going to blind buy one of the train movies so with the news about The Bullet Train looks like it's going to be Runaway Train.

From FB:

Just a heads-up for those of you who ordered our Blu of Sydney Pollack's BOBBY DEERFIELD (1977), it will now be shipping on 9/20 - apologies for this race car being slow off its mark!

I'm wondering if the delays have more to do with Technicolor/Cinram forcing TT to now use the Mexican plant. It seems another issue which has cropped up this month are broken booklet clips. My copies of Remo Williams and 9 to 5 came with the top clip broken off. Someone else also mentioned a broken clip with Murphy's Law. Seems like the change is not for the better; at least not for TT and its customers.

Is Cinram shipping from Mexico as well?

It appears Technicolor acquired the North American disc manufacturing and distribution assets from Cinram Group. The discs are being manufactured in Mexico as previously mentioned by Twilight Time, and the packaging (shrinkwrap) now states "Made in Mexico", but the discs are still shipping from the La Vergne, TN warehouse. Previously, the discs were being manufactured in the Olyphant, PA plant.

Seems like they could consider a different way to ship.

4 discs at Priority mail being 9.49. Yet you could easily fit that order in a flat rate BUBBLE envelope. (in fact you could fit more than that in one). Which also gives $100 insurance for any concerns they may have.
