I assume you are referring to modern 3D films? Because I can assure member spargs and anyone else who has a question about the 3D releases from Twilight Time playing on a 2D system that they look just fine. I have viewed all of TT's 3D releases in 2D - and many of those from Kino as well - and they are great looking transfers. No evidence of "looking like ass" to be found .

Yeah modern movies. I think the only 3D "classic" I own is Jaws 3D. It looked rough but not totally blown out like Dredd. So yeah, it may depend on the year released and 3D technology used.

Wasn't saying any TT discs looked like booty.

I think the only 3D film I have is Dial M For Murder, which comes in for a bit of a drubbing PQ-wise in 2D. On a 40" screen I didn't think it was as bad as some reviews made out. Good film in any event.

I watch the 3D Twilight Time films with the 2D option, since I do not have a 3D Blu-ray player, and since my lazy eye in my right eye prevents me from seeing in 3D in the first place.

The 2D presentations of these movies always look marvelous. Man in the Dark is so much fun even in 2D.

I thought the Umbrella release of The Blob looked pretty good, but then again, I got mine within the last 5 months so maybe it was the new disc.

Im going to preorder The Stone Killer. I still want four other titles. Hope they are planning another sale. Doesnt have to be a big sale. I would be happy with $20 a piece for The Detective, Peyton Place & The Best of Everything lol

Looks like there are only eight copies of Lilies Of The Field left at TT. If anyone was holding off until the last minute I would guess that time has come lol

I thought it was going to be slightly boring but I blind bought it bc its Oprah's fav movie (Yeah Yeah I dig Oprah) and I ended up absolutely loving this film.

Just a heads-up that Martin Ritt's classic, HOMBRE is now SOLD OUT at SAE -- just a couple of hundred units remain at TT's website.

LOW QUANTITY ALERT:

ZULU - fewer than 60 units remaining SOLD OUT
BONJOUR TRISTESSE - fewer than 150 units remaining
THE DISAPPEARANCE - fewer than 100 units remaining
DESIREE - fewer than 350 units remaining
MINDWARP - fewer than 250 units remaining
BELOVED INFIDEL - fewer than 350 units remaining
THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN - fewer than 120 units remaining
RAPTURE - fewer than 300 units remaining
PONY SOLDIER - fewer than 400 units remaining
FOLLOW THAT DREAM - fewer than 300 units remaining
ROOTS OF HEAVEN - fewer than 450 units remaining
CONRACK - fewer than 300 units remaining
GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER - fewer than 350 units remaining
MISSISSIPPI MERMAID - fewer than 400 units remaining
STORY OF ADELE H - fewer than 150 units remaining

Zulu is going, going......

And Rapture is on its way, finally. This title deserved to sell out long ago.

Also glad to see Bonjour Tristesse on the list. Such a marvelous film.

EDIT: I have updated the Low Quantity Alert in the first post of this thread, and merged these with the titles that were already on it. There are now 19 titles on the list with less than 450 units remaining plus one (Hombre) with a few hundred remaining only at TT's website.

Lilies of the Field is officially SOLD OUT.

"The Disappearance" is one to pick up if you're interested. It's such a strange, obscure film that I'd be shocked if another distributor gives it another release.

Most, if not all of those titles, are part of the 7 for $70 bundle, which is still available. Anyone interested in any of those should take advantage of that deal. If anything, it might open up a few more titles to become a part of the deal.

What is the minimum number of Blu-ray titles that you need to order from Screen Archives in order to have them sent by media mail shipping in a box instead of a bubble mailer? Is it 3 or 4?

Saw this linked to on the Screen Archives site:

https://www.blurayauthority.com/inte...twilight-time/

Nick Redman of Twilight Time hints at a couple of Sony owned Woody Allen films coming from them. I'd assume that's Husbands and Wives and Manhattan Murder Mystery.

They've got quite a few Sean Penn films too, so "Sweet and Lowdown" seems possible.

Didn't realize that. I think I actually like that film better than Husbands and Wives and Manhattan Murder Mystery.
