Yes, I imagine it is but it's still not good for the site's credibility not to have those blu-rays reviewed. Reviews of all available titles get people in the door where they might stick around and become members and start buying through the links. It's like a retailer that doesn't carry a certain brand because of a dispute, people might just go to a different retailer that does carry it instead.

It's up to TT and blu-ray.com to find how they can get to trust each other, one by making fair reviews and the other to accept the reviews as fair.
I don't know for sure, but I don't think the beef had anything to do with fairness of reviews, it think had to do with criticisms over their business model by a reviewer who doesn't even review the TT discs. I like TT, but certain people associated with it do tend to be petty at times.

I paid around 90 dollars for an OOP copy of TT's first release of MYSTERIOUS ISLAND. I didn't even have a Blu-ray deck when it first came out, so it was long gone by the time I got my first player (actually a US Sony Playstation 3).

I'm holding off for the 2nd Volume Indicator Ray Harryhausen collection has Mysterious Island and seeing how the 1st set was Region Free, I would expect the 2nd set would be.

That's because they only license through Sony, who don't care. Same with Sony's licenses to Twilight Time. If Indicator dive into MGM, Fox or other studios then they will start locking when they have to, same as Arrow.

I don't know how or why I've missed seeing All the King's Men for all of these years, having heard about it since the 1970s, but anyway I finally watched it last night. Excellent picture quality on this Twilight Time disc. This political film noir is at times almost horrifying. As Julie Kirgo writes at the end of her perceptive essay: "The people, in this film, are not the villains; rather, it's the manipulators of the people—those who use them to satisfy their own lust for power—who are the true evil. It's a message that, forceful in its own day, perhaps has even more weight in our own."

Recommended.

I found out that at SAE that the following titles that are the 7 for $70 list at SAE are 150 - less than 100 remaining depending on the title . I was not told exact numbers as they said they would not disclose exacts.

I imagine some of these could go somewhat faster now .

Mindwarp
Beloved Infidel
Conrack
Rapture
Desiree

I am thinking of picking up Desiree , Conrack & Mindwarp as I do not own those .

Desiree is a costume drama that is a bit dull at times imho, but still interesting in places and worth it for Brando at this price. Conrack is definitely recommended. Mindwarp is trashy fun imho—a movie so "bad" it's good. But Mindwarp is not for the squeamish, since it features literally dozens of gallons of fake movie blood.

The novel is probably my favorite of all time. If you haven't read it, I HIGHLY recommend you do so. I had a Lit professor profess (har har) that every sentence in that book is perfect, and I'll be damned if that assertion wasn't accurate. Just masterful.

Agree 100%

Will buy cases from SAE. Shipping cost from Twilight are ridiculous high for blu-ray cases

I thought they were pretty comparable now that both offered Media Mail options. For me it looks like shipping 1 item Media Mail is a little cheaper at SAE, but each added it 0.45 at TT vs 0.95 at SAE.
Are you outside the US; Canada? It seems costs may vary by location within the US on the TT website. For one item, TT charges me $4.08 for media mail ($4.26 for First Class) vice $4.91 for SAE.

I just double checked and SAE seems to charge US customers more ($1.55) for each additional disc than Canadians ($0.95).

4.91 +1.55 sounds like First Class shipping
Ahh, I forgot SAE only gave you that option on the last screen prior to confirmation and they don't list it on the shipping rates page.

Not sure if anyone else here is a fan of CinemaRetro magazine? I pick up every issue, and also their Movie Classics specials (from B&N). The new Movie Classics (#6) is dedicated to a selection of WWII movies of the Sixties - some very well-known, and others a little more obscure.

It features a very interesting article on André De Toth's 1968 picture Play Dirty, starring Michael Caine, and produced by Harry Saltzman of Bond fame (an upcoming TT release). Interestingly, the film originally starred Richard Harris, and was to be directed by René Clément. However, shortly after filming commenced, Harris fell out with Saltzman and Clément over the script and departed. De Toth then stepped in to direct in addition to his role as Executive Producer. Will be a blind-buy for me, and one of the few Caine films I've yet to see.

Also covered in the issue is The Train, The Guns of Navarone, Von Ryan's Express, and The Battle of the Bulge, plus, the excellent Heroes of Telemark (crying out for a BD release!), and a host of others. If you enjoy WWII films, I heartily recommend this issue.

I missed out on Mad Magician last week and was upset to see it sold out. I got the email mentioned above, clicked on the title. Checked out and bought it. When I went back to the Twilight Time site, it was no longer available.

Whew!

Indicator have hinted at a U.K. release, which would assumedly be region-free like all of their other Sony titles, so if you've missed the TT I'd wait to see what their edition will be before paying scalper prices.

I'm sure .30 in profit has them jumping all over offering the product.

I agree it would be nice if they carried them also. I've bought over 10 from TT and it is ridiculous watching the shipping rates go up each time you add another one to the cart. Especially absurd when using media mail as it would take a super large order to get to "another pound" range where the shipping costs would actually got up a little bit.
