If you're interested in any of these titles, check Hamiltonbook.com first. They have many Twilight Time titles on sale for $7.95 each, and their shipping cost is a flat $4 no matter how much you buy. That's a lot better than the highway robbery SAE charges for shipping, which I see is now up to $6.40 for a single title.

This was also really confusing to me. It didn't seem that long ago when I recall TT having what was basically a bonfire party "everything must go" fire sale. I thought they were done and now there are a bunch of titles for sale again at even higher prices. Some of them I do kind of want but I'm not really that enthusiastic; think they also raised the shipping prices, which have always been really high as well. Might just see what Hamilton Book can acquire.

SAE bought the Twilight Time Brand and the remaining stock titles. They at least sell of those to the pricing they think approachable. But yes, mostly those remaining titles were also part of the big going out of business sale on Twilight Time last year. They mostly were priced 14.99 USD. But most likely most of those titles now are getting less and less in stock, so maybe it’s worth the extra buck to you, if you missed out the first time. For me the shipping costs currently are just so high, that it’s not really any kind of deal for me. If they would do 10 for 100 USD I would pick up some more titles, but 16 USD + Shipping Costs is just too much for my taste, currently...

I went looking through the site and didn't find anything I thought had sold out. Which titles did you notice had come back?

It's not like these are even "sale" prices but I'd pay it for the two new titles. Still going to cost around $40 for the pair shipped.

Not that I'm aware of unless people are remembering items that SOLD OUT at the TwilightTimeMovies.com site. A bunch of items SOLD OUT at the TTM site, but never SOLD OUT at SAE or for that matter a lot of itme SAE had exclusively that TTM didn't have to start with.

The prices were taken off the Clearance Sale sometime in the Fall and repriced at 19.95 each instead of the previous 29.95 prices, but they were cheaper in last years sale.


EDIT: there are a few exceptions to the previous SOLD OUT items. Somewhere in September, there were about 12 titles that aren't included under the Twilight Time Company filter that that relisted some copies. Nobody was sure if these were Buybacks from customers, Nick Redman's personal stash, or just a few boxes of leftover promotional items. The only 3 of those that seem to be left now are

THE DISAPPEARANCE -- 1 copy left
The Believers -- >50 copies
Vanishing -- >50 copies

I went ahead and ordered a few titles I had held off getting last year during all the sales. There were still a few Fox films I hadn't picked up, and based off of Disney's activity since the Fox purchase it's probably likely once the Twilight Time ones are gone they may not ever get another physical release.

Maybe some of those are getting released by Indicator ;-). But yes, Fox titles are also on my priority list.

Hmm, well, whatever. I'll buy some of the ones I never got around to getting for 20 bucks (plus 12 shipping - ack!). Most of them are Woody Allen movies anyway, and those never get substantial extras, so if Indicator releases them that's OK!

When the Twilight Time direct site was shutting down a user put a lot of titles as "SOLD OUT" even though SAE still had stock for most of them.

Well, from a European side of things: The rebate of 20 Percent makes up for about the shipping cost. ;-) - and with the import taxes, these 20% are going up in smokes as soon as the package arrives and customs wants it share ;-). But well... better 20% rebate than nothing. ;-)

I think that they have still lots of stock not accounted for. And what annoys me is that since September 2020, they never sent an email about which releases are going to be sold out anymore. It seems to me they relay on "everything is rare, so buy as much as you can right now" - understandable from a pure business standpoint, but not really customer friendly - If I look up my buying history with SA, since 2014 I am a customer with hundreds of Dollars spent - a lot of those bucks for shipping btw - at least. ;-)
