Same question, Edward Dmytryk's Warlock (TT vs. multiple in Region B: the 2012 Sidonis Calysta has French hardsubs so I imagine the 2019 does too, but the German subtitles on the 2012 Euro Video and 2019 and 2020 WVG Medien releases are presumably removable).

The Sidonis and Euro Video releases use the same master as Fox's DVD but the French disc, not only has hard subs, is aggressively DNR'ed. Twilight Time's is from a newer master. It does have Fox's cyan/blue bias but it's not as aggressive as some of their other CinemaScope remasters. The WVG disc supposedly uses the newer master but I have no idea about the quality.

Thanks for this! I'll add the TT to my cart.

Right now I'm thinking about releases I don't have that are unlikely to get re-released in better quality and/or at a better price. Keys of the Kingdom, like Warlock, is Fox, so unlikely to see another release soon; My Sister Eileen could come from Mill Creek (presumably in worse quality) or maybe Indicator (but it doesn't strike me as a big seller). Inserts is presumably available again, but I'm not sure who would go after that license knowing that 3,000 units failed to sell in the four years TT was extant plus two years following that.

Speaking of which, all four were going for $14.95 each on SAE before the prices got bumped back up—albeit lower IIRC from TT during that very brief going-out-of-business window—so $15.96 each may not be ideal, but it doesn't have much of an extra sting.

Between Severin and Target, and still paying off Vinegar Syndrome, and with Kino around the corner, maybe I should have sat out this one…but I didn't.

[Show spoiler]

Seven titles for $130.12 shipped…I can live with that.

I could see that potentially being up Fun City's alley. I have to imagine "Cutter's Way" isn't the only former TT-MGM title that they snagged ("Chilly Scenes of Winter", "The Hospital", "Comes a Horseman", and "Eureka" would be nice just to at least guarantee new scans).

That's true…but superstition suggests that any announcement from Fun City will be dependent on my having bought the TT edition, so you're welcome in advance.

I'd double dip on Comes a Horseman, if Fun City provides a new scan and clean up

Looks like it's basically the same release 88 Films released in the UK last year:

Pretty much, if it also includes the Alternate Italian/English credits sequences + both the Italian/English Trailers.

I'm guessing it's barebones packaging on this one though. The 88 limited release had the nice Hard Slipcase and 40-page Booklet...and that also played as a Region "A" release, despite the "B" on the back cover.

I was seriously going to include We of the Never Never in the order, but in the end I decided to get just The Revolt of Mamie Stover from Screen Archives a couple of weeks ago (this was after watching a repeat of an edition of an arts programme series called Scene to Scene where Jane Russell was interviewed by Mark Cousins).

Sorry to anyone else who wanted this one! If it makes you feel better, it's a logical choice for KLSC's ongoing first Sony deal. Hopefully my purchase here will spur an announcement, lol.

Darn. I would've nabbed one if I had seen it in time. I was hoping Kino had it, but what are the chances?

Journey to the Center of the Earth is tempting, but I worry that if I buy it, a nicer edition will come out soon after. That's what happened when SA "found" some old copies of The Blob and sold them several years back.

I don’t think you have to worry about that considering it’s a Fox film.
