I ordered mine yesterday from them, so I know I likely won't get it by release day even though I did Priority Mail, but hopefully it will ship on Monday at least.

We have just become aware of a glitch in our systems that is showing some open orders as Awaiting Fulfillment even though all pre-orders had shipped by late last week.

We should have this rectified in the next hour or two, however we apologize for any inconvenience.

I watched my Twilight Time Blu-ray of Scream and Scream Again earlier this evening, and am now going through the extras.

I love Scream and Scream Again, and I would have no reservations about ranking it pretty highly on a list of favorite Vincent Price films. It's not so much a horror film as it is an early example of the "conspiracy thrillers" with a sci-fi edge that flourished during the 1970s. If you like The Boys from Brazil, Marathon Man, or Three Days of the Condor, then you'll find a lot to enjoy with Scream and Scream Again. Despite its non-horror leanings, the movie does feature Vincent Price in a role that is quite befitting of his better sinister screen incarnations, and, although he is only in the movie for a few minutes, his work in the final scenes really puts a smile on my face. Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing do not share a lot of screen space with Price, but their roles command due attention as well.

Scream and Scream Again is an outright riot in terms of its mix of settings and tones. The initially labyrinthian conspiracy plot is broken up midway through by a gloriously 1960s-esque nightclub scene where a mysterious man (who looks uncannily similar to Thurston Moore, the frontman of Sonic Youth) lures women to their doom before leading police on a lengthy car chase before climbing up a sheer cliff face. There's a military dictatorship plot line, there's an extremely sexy nurse (played by Uta Levka), and there's even a fun title song during the nightclub sequence.

This Twilight Time Blu-ray looks great to my eyes, despite a few speckles here and there. It's on par with other high definition presentations of such Vincent Price films from this era, although this video presentation seems to be slightly superior in look. The audio goes over quite well with regard to both the dialogue and the interesting music choices.

In addition to the enjoyable commentary by historians David Del Valle (a fixture on quite a few Vincent Price Blu-rays) and Tim Sullivan, there's an isolated score, a fun short documentary about Gordon Hessler, and an interview with the lovely Uta Levka.

I'll go with four stars across the board. All in all, Scream and Scream Again is one of those offbeat "early grindhouse" flicks that I live for. Well done, Twilight Time!

Thanks. I received my order today unexpectedly (I had no idea it was coming today), but I'm not complaining in the end.

If this is any indication, my days of ordering from SAE are over since I ordered Vampires on Friday and got it already before release from you guys directly.

I have to second The Great Owl's impression of Scream and Scream again. It takes a lot of great ideas, a convoluted plot full of plot strings and ties them all together at the end. It never takes itself seriously and has some very funny sequences. The main detective is hilarious and Vincent and Lee put in good performances. As far as low budget films I've seen a lot worse. As long as you don't expect a masterpiece and have a sense of humor I think you will enjoy the film. Definitely a cult film that deserves its reputation.

[Show spoiler]Personally I laughed my ass off while the cops stood there, making no attempt to follow, and watched the killer climb all the way up the cliff face in a fairly long sequence. Only for him to come rolling back down the hill. At which point the detective, in his wonderful english accent, proclaims "Right, cuff him"

Bob Furmanek has noted that while Miss Sadie Thompson is pretty much ready to go, Gorilla at Large still needs significant work. So the latter may be 2-3 years off.

Well, it's not like Gorilla at Large is a "gotta have it now" title.

That's almost a third of the 2016 TT titles. Here's hoping they can release 3 Worlds of Gulliver and One Million Years, B.C. as well.

I'm interested in Scorpio but I don't really know much about it beyond the trailer and IMDB rating. I like spy stuff and 70's thrillers, so should I go for it?
