Enemy Mine would be a good reissue.

I really want that to happen since I collect anything sci-fi but it took forever to sell out supposedly, so I doubt they're eager to do it.

I haven't seen Hardcore in probably 30 years, I remember it being a good film but pretty much a remake of The Searchers but without the Indians

A year and a half isn't forever. And it was still pretty early in TT's run.

I placed an order with them on the 20th. The order status still says "Awaiting Payment". Is this normal?

Who did you order from? If it was Screen Archives and you have at least one pre-order in your order and you are paying via credit card, then yes it is normal.

It was from Twilight Time's website. It is a pre-order.

So with preorders I guess they basically wait to process the payment until they're about to ship?

That's been my experience when pre-ordering from Screen Archives.

It used to show Awaiting Fulfillment but my latest order also shows Awaiting Payment. Maybe they changed something. I sent them an email several weeks ago to make sure everything was OK but that reminds me that I never heard back from them.

Lightbulb Twilight Time Releases

Im not too big of a Twilight Time fan only for the reason that their prices are entirely too high and also that most if not all their titles are catalogue issued titles which you can get cheaper in other regions usually and not to mention most will eventually come to release by the bigger studios making them cheaper and more accessible to the public for instance Christine was just released by Sony not to long ago $9.99-$12.99 included with lots of special features..But as a collector myself i understand the LE quality of it and you know paying 30-35 dollars for this type of blu-ray LE its value will most indefinitely increase in value esp when they become OOP to the market..Also does anyone else agree with me on this that Screen Archives sells most of the Twilight Time Products and I'm sure people are spending well over $100 an order off there and they have yet to provide a Free Shipping policy for at least an agreeable amount spent it would be considerable of them to do.

Christine is currently the exception rather than the norm when it comes to US releases and ignoring the international ones. But the TT release had the same extras as the Sony US release in addition to the standard isolated sound track. Although a fair amount of the TT titles can be found in other regions there are still just as many releases, if not more, that aren't released anywhere else in the world.

Well, there's also a region B release of ESTHER AND THE KING, in proper widescreen. That title would please me, as would BARABBAS or SODOM AND GOMORRAH.

You mean a DVD.
because there is no Bluray.
Belcherman was talking, I assume, about the Scandinavian Bluray of David and Bathsheba.

Just finished House of Bamboo. What a surprising movie! And Julie Kirgo's wonderful essay, as always, adds another dimension. Amazing PQ on this CinemaScope film imho. It was a treat to see the young DeForest Kelley.

Thanks to those here who recommended this Sam Fuller flick.

I just finished watching it again: it's one of those films where there's so much to look at and so much going on under the surface that it not only holds up well to repeat viewings but gets better every time. And Fuller's use of CinemaScope is truly outstanding - some of the best from the 1950s, with some remarkably imaginative long but anything but static takes that are incredibly imaginative and surprisingly intricate without being too showoffish. Terrific transfer, too.

Where can one purchase clear Blu Ray cases as replacement for Twilight Time titles? I have a damaged case and figured I'd switch all the blue ones to clear.
