Not all, I've done a backup of the hard drive 2 or 3 weeks ago, so I should be good.

And the creating part on the psp is not only the size of the screen but I imagine the limitation on the creation, nomber of corner and all since its a smaller device.

Why didn't they just put the outfits in the levels as with all original levels

Big... fat..... meanies...
I don't mind $5 bucks for levels with creation tools etc. - but I'm not paying $5 for costumes - or $1.99 separately!

I have another question though. lol
How on LittleBigPlanet do you place on of those Community Level Keys?
Is that an ability I didn't "find" yet? Which I doubt.
Or... I really can't find it and I don't think I ever came across it.
When you publish a level - you get a "Community Level Key". You can use it to give to people to "unlock" a level (if they have to beat "part 1" to play "part 2" - or, as with most people, you simply provide them to link people to your other levels.)

Most people seem to give you ALL their keys - I usually just link people to the other levels of mine like the one they just played. So, in Puzzle Wheels 1, you'll get Key links to Puzzle Wheels 2 and Puzzle Wheel Survival Challenge. Same with the Great Race levels.

Hope that helps.

Ah, cause I thought I could do it beforehand, like before publishing
and already connecting levels I made (but have unpublished) together.
So when I'd publish them all at once, they'd already have the keys in there.

And yeah, I wanted to do it the same as you and the original creators did.
Like with the original races, you'd unlock the next ones by just finishing it or something.

Man... I played Sonic a lot on my Sega...
Not really familiar with the fourth character there though.
I've seen it somewhere, I think a later game, but I've only played the 3 original games + expansion.
And then also watched the animated series.

Now if only SackPeople could move like Sonic...

Publish the levels "Locked". Then, put the Keys in the first level - or how ever you want to do it.

The only thing is - as you know, is that it takes sooooo long to build a level - that limiting plays to only those who "unlocked" the level can be a difficult decision. Unless it is a progressive story or something, I'd recommend not publishing your levels locked.

When LBP came out with the Paintball Gun I know a lot of people hoped they would continue to do things like offer "Power-Ups". Something to give you flight, something to give you invincibility, something to give you speed, etc.

We got swimming and water - so that was cool. But it seems the only new create tools are all going to LBP-PSP. LBP-PS3 is only getting costumes lately (and some of those are simply re-releases).

They really need to keep the focus on giving out new materials, etc for creators. That keeps creators building - which keeps giving players new levels to play.

I know I had quit LBP for a long time - until the Water was introduced, that kind got me excited to create again. Then I found the 3D glitch, and now I have my new effect I found. It's new tools that keep me in the game and trying new things. Hope they release new create tools soon.

What they really need to do is put in "climbing", to get to (higher) places more easily.
The way they can do that, is to make everything "grabable", optionally "climbable".
Of course the option would be off by default so existing stuff doesn't get in trouble.
But then you could check the option to make a material "climbable" too.
All they have to do is make the characters climb/crawl over the material then...

If not, they should add simple ladders, seen from both the side and front.

Anyway, I think that's definitely a missing feature as for movement and all.

You mean you're having trouble to get airtime basically?

The trick there is timing... and I'm thinking now...
You should not want to jump too early, but it's similar to real-life-physics.
You should jump when you're being pushed up again to build up the power of your jump.
So just when you're about to take off, NOT AFTER you left the surface, you hold down the X-button.
Then you'll be launched higher and higher every time you jump, up to a certain point.
It probably feels annoying, but once you get the timing it's easy.

Yeah, I find those things a drag on that level - really slows down the gameplay and there are too many of them. They can be a real pain with more then 1 person.

However, if you want help getting past that part - add me to your friend's list if you want and I'll join you for that level and get you past it. Those spring boards aren't used in many levels - so don't worry about mastering it or anything. I'm not the best player - I'm usually creating, but I don't mind stopping to play a level or two.

PSN ID - CYMBOL - if you don't want help, that's ok too.

It's pretty fun to go with two, but then each going on one platform and you can combo up points too.

Sorry, just turned off my PS3 for the night and am heading to bed - I'll sort through my list tomorrow and take someone off. I'm sure there is someone out of a hundred that I don't even remember accepting - or someone that hasn't even turned on their PS3 in 3 months.

Didn't realize I had gone back up to that level again - I'll find one to delete.

Obviously, I have buddies I'd never kick - even if I never play games with them.

Anyone can add me if you like, my name is DamageIncM.
But there might be some lag if we're playing between the US and Europe.
Also, I won't be on for probably a day or two, cause I have a concert tomorrow.
Will take up quite some time.
