Would be funny though, Sanchez and Jafatty on one roster
Moss had subpar seasons in Oakland and that 2010 season where he played for 3 different teams didn't help either. Rice didn't have those kinds of seasons in the middle of his career. Moss is top 10 but definitely not the best.

Exploratory over a player that was good at 1 point yes exploratory over a player that ballooned to 300+lbs from 225 no. There is a a big difference between luring say Joe Montana back compared to Jamarcus Russell. They should be having exploratory talks over players that matter, ie Randy Moss wanting to come back for a season doubt he would play for Jets but still that club is a joke, for god sakes they make the Lions look like the pride of the NFL and that takes a lot considering they just hired the guy who took Tim Tebow 23 overall, to run our player scouting.

I could draw up a list of 500 or 1,000 available QB's to sign and JaMarcus wouldn't make the list. I have a friend who last played QB (badly) in high school and I'd sign him before I'd sign Russell as my friend at least has marginal work ethic and isn't as overweight.

Profootballtalk's Mike Florio reports the Jets have "no interest" in JaMarcus Russell.
Late Monday night, the Newark Star-Ledger reported the Jets held "very exploratory, informal discussions" about adding Russell to their bag of quarterbacks. It's not all that surprising to hear the Jets saying they're not interested, though, but it was fun for the half of a day that it lasted. However, the Sideline View's Adam Caplan reports Russell has hired a personal trainer and is in search of an agent currently. So, he does seem intent on at least trying to get a job offer.

Once he comes back down from his spiritual and emotionally draining high, from all his hard work playing all the positions on the field this is what we have to look forward to when he's on espn

I'd have way more if he did his dance every now kept his mouth shut and was just straight humble after what happened in 2000. Instead he's a big mouth with 4+ babies mama's, and runs his mouth like its all because of him. If you plugged in Willis or even London Fletcher that defense probably would still be just as competitive maybe not as "pumped up" but I'm sure their on the field play wouldn't suffer like everyone thinks.
