They need to address the D-line. Lynch ran through them every time he got the ball.

What a game to open the season, Rodgers looked like a deer in headlights for much of the game. Seattle just dismantled Green Bay like they were toys purchased at a dollar store.

Year W L T Playoffs
2013 8 7 1 Lost WC
2012 11 5 0 Lost Div
2011 15 1 0 Lost Div
2010 10 6 0 Won SB
2009 11 5 0 Lost WC
2008 6 10 0 Missed Playoffs
2007 13 3 0 Lost Conf
2006 8 8 0 Missed Playoffs

So he has won a SB, made the playoffs in 6 out of the 8 years. Do you know how many teams would kill for that? In the hunt almost every year?
I can think of one of there Division rivals that would kill for that, would be a team that has 1 playoff win in the last 57 years...

Nelson also needs to stop it with the butterfingers 10/10 times you catch that pass and THAT one you let slip through for an INT? The f**k man?

Another thing I didn't like was going for it on 4th down at the 50yrd line. McCarthy! *Rolls up news paper* No! That's a No!

Before, they were up by 13: 29-16: 13 point lead

With a FG they would have been up 32-16: 16 point lead, GB would need two TDs and convert both 2pt conversions to tie.

With a TD they go up 36-16: 20 point lead, GB needs 3 TDs to win.

Is going for it, worth it? I guess the only other argument to go for it if you pick up the first you can milk the clock.

Being so close to the Seahawks I wish I could root for them, if it weren't for Carroll and Sherman.
It's like Jimmy Johnson used to say when he was the head coach of the University of Miami, and then Dallas: You don't want me to run up the score, then stop me!

Let me just say, as a Philly fan, I hated JJ...but I certainly would've loved to have him on my team....and I can respect what he meant by it.
It's true. One team is trying to score, the other is trying to stop them. Some of these "unwritten rules" in sports need to be just that: UNwritten as in disappear.
So what a guy bunts to "attempt" to mess up a perfect game. The other team, most likely, is going to win anyway. That is the important thing, not personal stats. You want to protect your perfect game, well do everything in your power to get them out. It's that simple.

Except look at the offensive systems they played in. Bortles took a mediocre UCF team and got them a BCS Bowl win in which they were predicted to be blown out. But sure they are the same.....

my apologies if it's been discussed, but why did Rodgers introduce himself as being from a Community College and not from Cal in the opening introductions?

Rodgers had no scholarship offers coming out of high school so he originally played for Butte Community College before transferring to Cal. He usually says Butte in those intros. Kind of funny that 3 players who went to Cal started last night and none of them said Cal in their intro, with Rodgers going Butte, Marshawn Lynch saying Oakland Ice City California and Brandon Mebane saying his high school.

The problem is mccarthy has a great qb so big woop he should win alot.

BB has brady so he makes the playoffs every yr + won 3 SBs.
Peyton has brees he makes the playoffs every yr + won a SB.
Fox has peyton so he makes the playoffs every yr now.

See the trend.

I thought he said "OT"? Rodgers needs all the protection he can get, while the rookie center gets into the swing of things.

Oh right, for some reason I thought Bulaga was a DT, that hurts a lot, although I would say the center looked fine in Seattle.

Really class move by the Bengals. They've signed Devon Still (former 2nd round pick that they cut in the offseason) to the practice squad to help him cover his daughter's cancer treatments. She was diagnosed with stage 4 pediatric cancer over the summer, and it completely took away his desire to play, resulting in the Bengals releasing him. But now he gets money ($6300/week), insurance, a chance to practice with the team and can't travel so he gets to spend more time with his daughter.

Being in 3 FF leagues, I love watching the mix channel(8 games at once). My wife doesn't even come near the mancave.
