![]() It is time for the subwoofer and the riser to come their rightful owner in Southern California. The rain in Portland will ruin them. ![]() ![]() |

Great looking riser CrazyBLUE. Did you document its construction or are you keeping its secrets to yourself? Good Work!

I haven't used the carpet from Parts Express. These are the carpets I used to cover the top of one of my risers. They are actually door mats with a very thin layer of rubber. I bought them for $3.50 each from Home Depot.

Big Daddy, what can you say about Def Techs supercube's design where you have one front firing speaker with 2 passive radiator - 1 on each sides? Reason I'm asking is that, I get better bass from different locations compared to my velodyne 12 in front firing woofer and port. That is after finding the best location for the velodyne. BTW, I got the supercube ll.

I have two vintage Polk RTA-15TL speakers. Each one has two 10" passive radiator. The one in the back has a lower resonance frequecy. When the back of the speakers are away from the wall by about a foot or more, they sound better. That is what Polk Audio receommends in their manual. |
