Subwoofer Risers - Blu-ray Forum

This may be addressed somewhere else. But I'm curious as to the benefit of the subwoofer risers. I see a lot of the galleries with them and I'm just curious. Most of my experience has been with REL sub-bass systems and they have their specific way of set up.
