Lost my internet today.
Switched from time warner at 70+ a month for just internet to century link for just internet for 35 a month.
They came a week and a half ago after already delying me and hooked up service.only they didnt. Took 2 weeks for them to come back and hook up my equipment. Then they never configured the router. That took a few more days. Had to use my Switch to do it as my laptop is dead.
Went online today to finish setting up my account and saw that the first month due was $60.
Called them and they told me that 35 a month was an error.
I told them to cancel service and they said that i will be billed for less than a week of usage at 35 bucks!
I asked for a supervisor and she hung up on me.
Called back and got in touxh with someone else. She apologized and said there would be no bill.
Thankfully, the library isnt far.
But I'll be on a lot less for the time being.

AMC started going downhill fast and big when they were bought out by the Chinese. If they keep doing business this way, I doubt they will last forever.

I myself think our location will close by the end of next year. One of my coworkers thinks they will close by the end of this year.

Either way, layoffs are inevitable and I fully expect half of us will be let go sometime in November.

Completely random thought that popped into my head for who knows what reason.
