I'm going with Luke. He killed everyone on the Death Star, he killed all those poor soldiers on the AT-AT, he killed everyone on Jabba the Hutt's ship, he killed Stormtroopers on sight, he killed the sweet Rancor Monster, and he even maimed the poor gentle Wampa Snow Monster...he's practically a serial killer. And before you say, "Darth Vader blew up Alderaan", no he didn't. Grand Moff Tarkin did that. Darth Vader only watched, he was baby-sitting his daughter at the time.

Luke Skywalker...the homicidal madman of the SW saga.
That was a ballsy move to redirect the thread. I salute you!

So anyway, Fox still owns the rights to Star Wars right? (Just kidding don't answer that!)

Is the complete saga available for pre-order on Amazon? I can't seem to find it though I may just be missing it.

It's the same listing of the original release right now but they changed the cover.

Gotcha!

Still wish they offered just the steelbook to purchase separately. I'd gladly pay like $15-$20 for it. I'll probably buy it at some point and either sell my old set or just sell off the discs.

So is this just a collection of all six of the steelbooks without the three bonus discs from the saga collection?

They should make a Lobot movie after Rogue One....only some teenager hacks his wired brain communications and makes him do all sorts of nutty and embarassing things.

Where are people getting the idea that the box set is a steelbook? It isn't. It's just new box art for the set. The only steelbooks are the six individual movies. If the box set was a steelbook, it would be way more expensive than what it is.

Not gonna happen, but I'd love it if the packaging for the reissued box set was a slipcase with individual cases for all six films inside (the bonus discs could be tossed in with IV-VI), using the Struzan posters as cover art for all of them. To make it even more droolworthy, they could give IV-VI reversible sleeves with Olly Moss' posters on the other side.

Original theatrical poster art for the OT would make more sense to save for the inevitable release of the theatrical cuts, maybe for the 40th anniversary as many have speculated.

I agree! Even the steels that are coming out should have been consistent in which art is on them. So for episode 1-3 they used Struzan art but not on 4-6. Why not make it consistent? The original art should be used when the originals come out....whenever that is. :P

"Fans can also purchase the complete saga in one beautifully stunning steelbook, which will also be released with newly-repackaged artwork on, October 13."

Agreed. And speaking of consistency, they really should have used Jango for Clones, Yoda just looks out of place when the rest are villains. And similarly, Boba should've been on the Empire steel.

Don't know where you heard your info, but this is straight from the press release at StarWars.com:
"As fans count down the days until the long-awaited seventh episode of the Star Wars saga, they’ll have something else to look forward to as the first six will be released as commemorative Blu-ray steelbooks for a limited time on November 10, with pre-orders beginning on August 7. Each film comes with beautiful new character packaging that include Darth Maul for The Phantom Menace, Yoda for Attack of the Clones, General Grievous for Revenge of the Sith, Darth Vader for A New Hope, an Imperial stormtrooper for The Empire Strikes Back, and Emperor Palpatine for Return of the Jedi. Star Wars: The Complete Saga will also be released in newly-repackaged artwork on October 13."
It does not say the complete collection is a steelbook. Just newly repackaged artwork. So if you believe this is going to be a steelbook you will be sadly disappointed when you receive it.

For that matter, you can tell by the pics of it, that it has no hinges on the sides. It is not a steelbook. Also, Walmart and Best Buy have the steels listed. The Complete saga is not listed as a steelbook at either store.
