Take the time to make the OT match ep. I-III! Fix yoda in ep. I,V & VI. Puppet Yoda does not look 800 years old he just looks like he was made in the eighties! He looks plastic and lacks detail.

Fix the sand peoples stupid buffalo-ram things on Tatooine! Fix the jerky walkers, Fix the stupid jerky motion ton-tons on in ep. V Fix the lame muppet ice monster! Fix the jerky bull thing Anakin rides in ep II. Fix the janky, clumbsy retro looking 70's service droids(they defy physics) Fix R2D2 in the OT, he looks so clunky and clumbsy!

Keep the dungeon monster in VI that was cool but fix the green Ork things in Jabbas palace, do something about the bar muppets in ep. IV(the little blue ardvark guy is a joke right?) The muppets simply lack detail!

The Ewoks can stay as is, fix the saber fights between Vader and Obi-wan in IV and between Luke and Vader in V & VI. Just cgi it in like they did with Dooku and Sidious. Give us flyover landscape shots of Hoth, Endor ect... Like in ep. I-III & at the end of VI.

Last but not least mute 99% of Jar Jars scenes or remove him completly... Then I will throw my money at you!
So basically you're not going to ever buy them?

PS: This is the last time I ever buy this set again! VHS to DVD to Blu-ray + each one time in the theater. I bet I have spent over $1000 on Star Wars in my life. No more flannels for Lucas from my pocket! Peter Jackson and James Cameron are next!

Not a single one of them. It's a hypothetical question.

I think that sounds like something you would see in a bad Star Wars manga version of Return of the Jedi. It is also a flaw of storytelling logic, because the last time Vader was emotionally worked up over Shmi and Padme, it didn't turn out so well for him, or anybody else. By throwing in a Shmi/Padme flashback, it destroys the whole idea of Vader's fall...it would obliterate the dire warnings over his character defects, suggesting that in one decade, those defects would lead to the slaughter of untold billions, while twenty years later, the same defects would lead to liberation.

Vader was actually thinking rationally at that moment, realizing he was seeing a repeat of seminal moments in his life, and acting accordingly out of atonement (notice I said atonement, not 'redemption'. Vader is not redeemed, he atones for his sins by giving all that he has left).

It is Luke that goes batshit out of emotions for a loved one in Return of the Jedi, and he almost repeats the mistake of his father. Vader seeing his son taking the same path, and then seeing his son do what he could not (renounce power, throw power away, give up control) is what inspires him to act, not some emotional outburst. It is a rational decision, and one that he knows will cost him everything. That's the whole point of the series, the whole point of the saga.

A Shmi/Padme flashback sounds like a bad cutscene from a God Of War bonus level.

Luke also never saw his father as a young man. The only visage he knows is the old man in the suit. But Lucas still changed it. So it's not out of the realm of possibility that in the BluVersion of Jedi, Lucas could throw in some extra people.

I still don't understand so much hatred towards a child...he was only in 1 movie and I blame the writers more than I blame him.

Well, "Jingle All the Way"?

His acting was pretty bad in TPM, but considering the other choices seen in "The Beginning" documentary, he was sadly the best one.

well he's not the only reason TPM is garbage. The writing and some of the other characters also contributed..

He's just the meat of the turd sandwich that is TPM. Like I said before, TPM needs to be cut down to about 30 minutes to make it watchable.

The parts on Coruscant and the climactic 3 way battle at the end? Those parts wouldn't make as much sense without the rest of the movie though.

Like everybody, I can't wait for this. Although upconverted, the last DVD set looks great. Blu-ray would just look that much more awesome. I was never a big fan of the last three he did, I think Lucas lost his focus and fell for CGI way too hard like so many do. My personal favorite will always be "A New Hope". Being 10 years old when it came out, it made a huge impression. Standing in a huge line, the likes of which I have never seen since for a movie, at the Avco Westwood, which was the place to see it at, was well worth it. I know the majority of people like "Empire" for it's darkness, but I'll take A New Hope anyday. It was the first, it was mindblowing and it was like nothing anybody had ever seen before.

I think the TPM had the least number of leaps of logic compared to the other prequels. I felt that its story made the most sense, but it also had the most annoying comic relief, not just with Jar Jar but with all the droid and gungan dialogue.

In the 2nd one the love story made NO sense and was HORRIBLY shown on screen. One minute Padme is calling him the little boy and then another minute they share a kiss out of nowhere.

In the 3rd one, Anakins turn to the darkside is completely unbelievable. One minute he is going after Palpatine and then out of nowhere pledges his loyalty believing he can save Padme and is then a Jedi child killer. It seems like it could have been handled SOOO much better and MUCH more believable.

Padme dying of a "broken heart" should be internal bleeding.

ya more or less. Add the pod race and a narrator to explain why the movie makes no sense and we have a winner

Sure, he should throw every dead Jedi in there . Clearly it's what he always intended .

I rather like the idea that Vader stayed alive by sucking out her mojo through the dark side. Her children wouldn't have given her a will to live? weakling!

The Avco?

I saw the SE Trilogy at the FOX Westwood. Even got a free action figure at one.

The sound for Episode IV was Dolby, Empire DTS, Jedi Dolby: Spoke with the management...they had so many complaints about the shrill sound for Empire they made sure Jedi was DD.

True story, swear to whatever is treasured or you worship.

PS: If anyone stepped on a bunch of chocolate M&Ms (in the sweet spot area) when they went to see Jedi there, that was my bad. I was trying to open the package and it just blew up M&Ms everywhere!
