I love Star Wars, and have for the majority of my life, but I've noticed a problem with some "fans." Some people like to put the Original Trilogy too unfairly high up on a pedestal, as if they're the second coming of Christ or something. Those movies are far from perfect themselves, as much as I love them.

Horrible dialogue, bad acting, over reliance on special effects - if people were as cynical back then as they are these days they'd be saying the same things about the first trilogy. People just won't admit it. Me, I can overlook it and enjoy the entire saga for what it is - great entertainment, which is all it was ever meant to be.

All i can say that I'm waiting for them.Hopefully lessons has been taken up from preceding releases like the first part of the Lord Of the Rings and Gladiator.

I wish when i decide to buy the box set ,prices will be reasonable and will not cost me a fortune.A reasonable price will be under 100 bucks and no more.

If my Dreams come true i am all over it.It's good to have it at the end and watching it in full high definition with unbeatable sound ever made.

PS: DVD special edition have never been watched so I'm looking forward

I beilive current version of TPM have the same problem as The Lord of The Ring BD have. Post production being done on poorly scanned digital transfer. In order to improve quality they would have to rescan the film and redo all CGI. Although Lucas would probably be happy to so

If there ever was/will be a movie package that needed to take full advantage of Blu-rays branching capabilities, this is it...

Hasbro made it as a thank you for Jon Stewart for hosting Star Wars Celebration V.

More idiotic Lucas bashing for something he's not even responsible for.

Seamless branching won't work for the films.

There's too many minor changes to the films to seamless branch them.

Regardless of the fact that Lucas isn't going to release the original versions.

How much footage (in minutes) has been replaced in each film?

And clearly he was wrong and misremembered.

Because that's clearly Mark Hammil and he even introduced the clip at SWCV.

Again, it's not a case of minutes. There's minor visual changes all through the films.

Seamless branching would be impossible especially in A New Hope because of that.

the music is tatooine rendez-vous, on the same track as main title/approaching the death star. if you buy the special edition soundtrack from 1997, the one with bronze special edition poster on it.

All I know is that I hope with Conan's new show that we get to see more videos similar to those below with the many lines that will most likely happen for the Blu-ray release:

Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCtz4trJr_g
