Anyway, how do you like the Klipsch speakers, Ronin? I was thinking about Klipsch at one point, but found the sweet spot too limited due to the horn loaded tweeters. You mention you sold the RW10 because it was silver... What finish are your other speakers? Mine are all cherry.

I love the my Klipsch.. I've gone through many diff brands and types of speakers before settling on Klipsch. Funny though, my friend has some Klipsch from the synergy line and I find them very harsh. Something about them I don't like. The reference line though, much warmer and highly detailed.

All my speakers, and gear for that matter, are black. The misses didn't like the silver sub because it stuck out like a sore thumb. The sub definitely provided a fuller sound stage but my ears feel better not having to listen to her anymore..lol.. I'm saving for an SVS now so maybe early next year I'll have a new sub.

I was going to go with cherry but I already had the RS-42's for surrounds and backs, which were black, so that would have just created another color mishap for the wife..lol.

The funny thing is that in our house... (gulp) I'm the decorator. I (briefly) attended art school and am extremely good with color. My Wife couldn't care less. Her response is always the same... Whatever you think, Hon.

Anyway, It's nighty-night for me. I'm puttin' Clones in, hitting repeat and goin' to sleep.

Not really related to the Blu-Ray's except that it might give a hint as to how long Lucas' has been working on the set...if he can work on this since 2005.

Me too however it's $3,000 that's too much. I wish it was afordable. Anyways I think LFL has been working on the blu-ray sets since late 2005 after episode 3 was done from what I heard on the net.

This has probably been mentioned before but this thread is very long... I just watched A New Hope last week and those colors are killing me. I have no problem with the special editions, but those green and pink lightsabers are killing me. Whoever was on QC duty really screwed up big time. I pray to god they will fix this once and for all.

That book he's releasing is interesting.

I watched Episode II again two nights ago. I definately like it more as I've gotten older (I still liked it when it first came out), and aside from a few lines of dialogue here & there, it's not nearly as bad as people make out.

Also there is some truly awesome cinematography in Ep II that I'd forgotten about. I'd recommend anyone who hasn't seen it for a while to rewatch for this alone (regardless of whether you like or dislike the film).Plus those seismic chargers on a 5.1 system = awesome!!!

The in-story reasons are all after-the-fact, from different crystal types. As far as conehead's color changing, IIRC the in-universe explanation is that some Jedi exchange lightsabers with others now and then (ceremonial type thing).
From my extensive book readings I will say this.

Sith almost always use red as there lightsaber color. Jedi will use every color depending on there preference EXCEPT for red.

The crystals used can also intensify the blade. Some of the crystals the Lost Sith Tribe use make there blades stronger.

Episode II dominates, especially the scenes on Kamino.

Funny you say that, Kamino is my favorite Star Wars planet. I love the whole water & rain thing. Definitely my style.

I don't understand the hate for Clones. It really was a great movie with some outstanding cinematography. The only problem I have with it is the poorly executed romantic plot & scenes. It's not particularly believable, the romance itself is rushed, yet drawn-out on film.

Agreed. I don't understand the hate for both Clones and Sith either they are not bad films it's just not perfect at times.

Yeah this week there has been some serious rain in SC. I'm definately sick of it.

And that's a nice side view of Mrs. Perry.

+1. Clones has a few cringeworthy moments but those get trumped by the several extremely cool and important moments. Its gonna take a helluva lot more than a few sappy love scenes to make me not like a Star Wars film!

I have always loved it, and always will. It blew me away in the cinema. The only movie that ever did that in the theater.

It's funny you say that, because I never got the hate that TPM, AOTC or ROTS got. They are all fantastic IMHO, and I don't care what other people say.

Watching Clones on Spike now. Love this movie!

i hope i am not making myself a target in this thread, as i see how it gets from time to time, but i agree (sith is on now). i like ALL of the movies. tartakovsky's clone wars. the new clone wars. pretty much everything. yes, there are good parts AND bad parts, but they are in all of them.

that said, it is funny, that very line is a line a bunch of us at work say all the time, to totally mock and make fun of hayden and his whinin...err, acting. it is great that everyone can get something, even something completely different, from these stories. good stuff

I like all the movies aswell, but actually may prefer the new trilogy slightly more. To me, it was great knowing about the characters from the beginning and I love Revenge of the Sith (its possible my fav of the saga). But yeah, all the movies have there good and bad parts and are all enjoyable, althought Attack of the Clones is the weakest of all the films IMO.
