Yet, what about all the goofy and bad lines in ANH and ESB.

One of the worst being Han's: "Easy you call that easy!" Such a terrible delivery by Harrison.

How about- "Well, I wasn't gonna let you get all the credit and take all the reward".

That one is pretty bad/corny also. But me and my friends mock the first one often, even today.

All of the films have pretty corny dialogue. But I still love them more than any other film series.

Yeah, bad dialog is a common feature of the SW films haha, but that was George Lucas' intentions, he made those movies mimicking the style of the 1940s' serials, including the type of dialog and acting.... or so he says :P so according to George Lucas, the movies have bad dialog and are corny on purpose, and it's all part of the style. Anyways, I don't find the dialog in the OT to be corny, but that's maybe because I saw them when I was younger (:

Has anyone tried to watch the Flash Gordon serials from the 30s and 40s? THAT is some painfully bad stuff....

I do enjoy playing drinking games with the 1980 Flash Gordon with the Queen Soundtrack sometimes.

How many of you are waiting for the Blu-ray set to watch the Saga again?

I certainly am.

I tried to watch TPM again, but the PQ is so awful that it's impossible to watch.
I think that could be the reason why some of you can't stomach it anymore.
We have gotten used to the infinitely superior quality of BD.

I am waiting patiently until they are released on BD.

I am working on my CD which is due to come out this summer, so the SW saga on BD will be my reward.

Well, I did read a study that suggested the increased resolution and audio fidelity with BDs meant that people generally enjoyed movies more with it. So it is possible we dislike it more because of the DVD quality.

For the whole saga? Sure. But I've already watched TPM twice since the announcement.

I'll probably watch the whole saga a couple of times before it comes out on blue.

After 7 naps and "resume dvd" I finally made it through ESB. I'm affraid what might happen if I actually forced myself to sit through the whole thing in one shot...I'd probably go into a coma.

Another dumbass Rebellion move thanks to little Luke'y. Attacking the AT-AT's consistantly from the front. They don't have side or rear lasers. Again, dumb! And, the one AT-AT they get down with the tow rope (again, brilliant idea ) I have to wonder what that debris really is. Almost looks like the AT-AT's ass exploded at the same time the rest of it did with all the dook droppings.

Luke and Han leave Hoth, where in the hell did the Rebellion go? They just left these guys high and dry? Good looking out Rebellion! The Falcon is being pursued by the Empire, and they are off sipping blue milk somewhere in the galaxy with ships on cruise control.

"Two starships against a Star Destroyer?" STFU! Who the hell is this guy and makes him so important he can interrupt Leia. And, why the hell is Leia still called "Princess" when her planet got all blowed up? What is she princess of? The guy with the Purina dog chow symbol on his jacket? Hey General, you get your uniform from the bottom of a dog food bag?

Since announcement, TPM x2, AOTC x2, ROTS x7 at least. ESB x1 although it took all day to get through that snooze fest.

Yea they do, but unfortunately RotJ is loaded from top to bottom with almost never letting up on it.

And who the hell thought that this below was a good idea???

[Show spoiler]

I mean, who in there right mind would go ahead and give approval on that...thing?

Man...you guys sure were not kidding about that PQ.

I watched some on SPIKE over the weekend and it really surprised me at how bad it was.

I do have to wonder what idiot came up with that battle plan, as to constantly keep on attacking those AT-ATs head on where their ONLY weaponry was located.

What's all the hostility against TESB?

I love it, and don't think it's boring at all. The only part I find a bit distracting is Chewbacca howling on and on when they are on Bespin.

Love Luke and Yoda in the swamp. Probably some of my favorite scenes of the Saga with all the Zen talk.

Meh, I couldn't care less.

Yeah, I believe we all are, but will you wait for the BDs to watch the movies again, or do you keep watching them on DVDs in the meanwhile?

There's a reason they put butt guns on the AT-AT's in the Atari 2600 Empire Strikes Back game.

*Just really really dated himself by mentioning that*

Like Chewie, and there are some good snap shot moments, but not much else. My least favorite and least watched movie of the saga. The only thing that saves ESB is Vader. Don't much care for Luke and Yoda moments either. "Ben, tell him I'm ready!" Stands up and hits his head on Yoda's roof, REALLY?! Did that really just happen? What moron does that? Oh yeah, Luke Skywalker. I'm tellin' ya, Vader should have just put Luke over his knee and spanked the Sith out of him for whining after Vader cut his hand off. Suck it up ya little brat! Try getting your legs and arm cut off, and then get set on fire before you start whining like a ***** with a skinned knee.

So...what do you think of Luke's landing style for his first visit to Dagobah?

Cut the repulsors, put her in a very steep nose dive and hope for the best.
