It looked pretty good. I hope the blu-rays look even better. Edit: That was a ROTJ scene (right?)

Just to throw it out there, one of my favorite funny moments in "Return of the Jedi" is when almost everyone is asleep at the palace, and Salicious Crumb keeps staring at Jabba's tail like its his next meal.

Was kinda hoping they'd remove those green mattes, but I guess we're stuck with them. Assuming thats bd footage.

C-3PO: "Wonderful!" Looking pretty good. And I love the fact the model was mistakenly built flipped.

All the press members ignored the breakfast goodies and converged immediately on disc 8. It was a nearly silent, unanimous decision to spend our brief time in this room looking at the deleted scenes to see what they were about. What an eye-opening experience it was.

Unfortunately the one aspect of Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Blu-ray I'm not allowed to talk specifics about are those deleted scenes. What I can tell you is that we watched almost every one of them from Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, as well as a few more from The Phantom Menace a little later in the day.

Whatever preconceived notion you had about the deleted scenes, flush it. There is far, far more footage scattered across the scenes than I knew existed, especially for A New Hope. We'll not only be treated to deleted scenes, but alternate angles and takes from some key sequences. It's a Star Wars historical gold mine.

As a side note, the deleted scenes on The Phantom Menace appeared to include the ones from the previously released DVD as well as several all-new ones. We ran out of time before Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith could be examined.

Got to say those special feature reports sound superb. However, the screen frames are gonna play havoc with the plasma and screen burn. Bit short sighted Lucasfilm.

Sounds like anyone with burn in problems was short sighted.

Needless to say, I won't be worried about burn-in.

I donīt see any sense sticking around in this questionable thread any longer. Wish all the fans among you much fun with the Blu-Rays of the entire perfected Star Wars Saga.

For the people who take most pleasure out of bashing Star Wars and badmouthing Lucas, I hope you will one day go on to something else than Star Wars, something that is more to your taste and that you can actually enjoy for what it is. After all the "flaws" people like Adywan enjoy bashing Star Wars for are getting fewer and fewer.
Yeah, it's really tiresome. ENDLESS, SENSELESS debates.

I don't want to many spoilers, so I am probably going to stay out of here too, as there are very few interesting news, or posts.

We could easily make a collection of posts that would make any regular person wanna commit suicide after reading.

Let's keep in touch. I have always enjoyed your positivity, and your contributions to the thread.

That's big news.

And I'm willing to bet Episode V Yoda will have little tweaks as well.
That sounds terrific! I sure hope this is true.

do you have a plasma with burn in?

Our plasma is left on with the weather/news channel (with all kinds of borders and lines) for about 1-2 hours at a time several days a week... no problems with burn in yet

Also, doesn't it have to be continuous. So if parhaps it takes 5 hours to burn a pattern into a plasma display, you have something on for 4 hours and 45 minutes, change the channel for 5 minutes, then change back for 4 hours and 45 minutes and repeat... wouldn't that pretty much eliminate the chance of burn in?

Anyways, had our TV for just short of a year, not the slightest trace of burn in... I've heard the bad stories about plasma as well, but I can't say any have come true for me.

Everyone just needs to chill out and stay on target! The films have been improved for the greater good. I hope the UOT is never released in HD format because this is all one saga now folks. Lets just be glad he is giving us these wonderful treasures to enjoy for everyone to enjoy.

I hope the new BD's have some morre suprise changes in store. Any chance some scenes that were deleted will make their way into the film? Gosh I hope so! I can't wait until release day! What order is everyone going to watch them in? Im going 1-6!
