I'm was extremely skeptical about these clips, because they would be very easy to fake, plus nothing has come out Lucasfilms saying its true i think we just have to wait and see

Right along with sequence in Alien's from when the queen is trying to get the newt under the subfloor and then Ripley coming out in the robotic loader and confronting the queen with "Get away from her you *****." Very powerful sci-fi scenes that when you saw them in the theater, you and the whole crowd cheered! If true about Vader's Nooo!, then now we all get to laugh and immediately cry as the whole lead up in the ending ROTJ sequence is ruined.
EXCEPT IT ISN'T SCI-FI AT ALL! It's a "space-fantasy", nothing about the series is grounded in actual science or futuristic settings.

Star Trek: TMP is "sci-fi".

Check your gut. Does this feel fake? Yeah, I didn't think so. Feels exactly like something GL would do...

This is supposedly the direct BR rip. And the guy has posted other clips from the Blu Ray that probably couldn't be faked. Its true, search your feelings, you know it to be true.

And did you notice that Luke's dialogue seems to be cut or muffled to make room. What a joke.

On the other hand, talking about or hoping for his death really crosses the line, don't you think? It's one thing as a fan to get upset or annoyed with some of his changes/decisions, but when movies drive you to the point of even mentioning or hoping for the guy's death, don't you think you've crossed the line? Maybe you're a little too invested in these movies when it drives you to that point. Maybe it's time to take a step back and realize that they're just good movies.

Some of us might ***** and moan about some of the changes and debate the films, but in the end, they're just movies and not life and death.

I hope he lives a long and healthy life and sees 100 years old or more. You should too.

Discussion of his death because of some movies?
It doesn't really come from my obsession with the films, but from my nihilistic outlook. A million people died in the last 24 hours, and I didn't give a shit about any of them, nor did you. And I wouldn't give a shit if Lucas was one of them. But I would be happy that maybe I'll get to see the UOT on Blu

List of things changed/not changed for ANH someone posted over at millenniumfalcon board

Could these "leaks" somehow be PRE-check discs? I hope? Anyway, here's my thoughts on the first MKV. I watched on my HD LCD widescreen computer monitor.

[Show spoiler]Still not fixed....

Star Wars

01. Still has 1954 recording of 20th Century Fox Fanfare
02. Both R2 jump-cuts in the Blockade Runner hallway still there.
03. Vader's chest box lights still not working in several shots.
04. Jawa's eyes look almost red from the artificial dimming of the scene.
05. Inside the Jawa Sandcrawler is almost too dark to see anything.
06. SE Sandtroopers and Dewbacks still look like 1997 effects.
07. SE Obi-Wan's home still looks fake.
08. SE Ronto's still look like 1997 effects.
09. SE Cantina aliens still look like 1997 effects.
10. The Han Greedo scene now has them both shoot at the SAME TIME, and there is still a freeze-frame there that throws off the scene.
11. Jabba scene is still there from the 2004 DVD.
12. Slooooow Millennium Falcon flyby from Tatooine.
13. After Han says "I know a few maneuvers....", it's still the old static shot of the Falcon NOT making any maneuvers.
14. Luke still has green saber blade.
15. "I told you she would never consciously betray the Rebellion" followed by Vader's hand gesture still there.
16. Falcon cockpit window still incorrect.
17. Spacetroopers and laser cannons still sloppily matted.
18. Old monitor graphics still there in Death Star control room.
19. Breakaway door in detention center still not fixed.
20. Death Star chasm matte painting still not fixed.
21. Jump-cut Obi-Wan lightsaber blade on the Death Star still there.
22. Millennium Falcon vs. Sentry TIE's, there is still an X-Wing flyby sound during the battle.
23. Still no "wormhole tunnel" out the cockpit window during the "They're tracking us" chat.
24. 1970's monitors and graphics still on Yavin 4.
25. Jumps between 1970's models and 1997 effects still there.

Changes noticed:

01. Escape pod launcher lights now have heat trails over them, making them flicker.
02. Escape pod hatch is no longer blue.
03. More moisture vaporators added.
04. Leia hologram now looks more blue and prequelish.
05. Treadwell droid behind Uncle Owen while talking at the table (Was this there before?).
06. Binary sunset still has the passing clouds added.
07. The area beneath the Landspeeder actually looks GOOD.
08. As pointed out by Adywan, there are now rocks in front of R2 in his hiding spot in the canyon.
09. If you thought the DVD version of Obi-Wan's Krayt Dragon roar was hideous, keep your thumb on the Mute button. That's right. It's WORSE now.
10. The new CG rocks that covered R2 are magically gone after he comes out of hiding.
11. 2004 detention center hallway still there and actually looks good.
12. Obi-Wan/Vader duel on Death Star lightsaber blades are bright and more consistent, though Vader's is a bit pink in some of the shots.
13. Millennium Falcon vs. Sentry TIE's, the shot that was revealed to us by LFL at the press event with the partial laser bolt IS FIXED in this MKV.
14. Brass can now be heard during X-Wing dive to the Death Star.
15. The glitch under Vader's TIE and his escorts after "Three marks at two-ten!" has been fixed.
16. Energy wave sound from Death Star explosion sounds more balanced.
17. Vader's breath sound can be heard when his TIE is spinning, but is very faint.

I'm too cross-eyed now to look at Empire. I'll look later once I rest my eyeballs.

So they add the stupid rocks, but only for the one shot. Just like how they only fixed the green saber for the one shot...

It's exactly like the Cloud City issue, one shot the windows are there, next shot they're gone...

All the CGI additions introduce heaps of new continuity errors

Not only that, but there have been plenty of artist hoarding their material and it wasn't until their death that the material was releases. Emily Dickinson id a famous example of this happening. Had she not died her poetry would never have been seen. Its a tragedy it took her dying for it to make it to the public but it is what it is.

Also, they are sick to their stomachs from what Lucas has done and of course middle earth is so fitting with it's new slather of green.

Someone at Lucasfilm should have had the nerve to do a Gandalf-style smackdown to GL's Denethor.

Look at Frey and Henley from the Eagles, so many videos being shut down on You Tube. Talk about greed.

Yea, if this is really true with the hilarious Vader no's and the Obi-wan scream, then I gotta really think about this. I have the SE DVD's which look great, even outright fantastic upconverted, so I may actually go that route and just hold on to what I have. If the new audio wasn't so funny, I'd be crying. The sad thing is, would anyone put this past Lucas and the answer is no. He has turned into something of a grade "A" wacko. I mean, sorry to say, but I think he's become the Micheal Jackson of the film industry. I wonder when he's gonna get plastic surgery, since he's always in a revisionist mood.
