Before I cancelled mine you have to go in and revise your shipping speed even if you select the same speed. The preorders were set to the original late september release date and some did not update. Once you revise your shipping speed it should go to the 16th.

So do you have a working Laserdisc player? Mine died, so I sold my 1995 copies.

I didn't have a widescreen TV back in the day so I don't know this, are Laserdiscs anamorphic?

regular Laserdiscs aren't anamorphic, just letterboxed

There was some newer format that was out in Japan for a short while (think it might have been high definition LD) that had a widescreen imaged squished to a 4:3 image. so you had to set your TV set to stretch...

this is essentially what anamorphic DVDs are, except the player stretches the video for you
