I had already purchased it for $89.99, but since it was down to $79.99 I cancelled my old order and repurchased at the lower price.

I'm sure amazon would have caught it and refunded me the money, but now I don't have to worry about it.

It should ship on the 16th, but depending on your delivery options (and whether you live in the U.S. or abroad) it could be delivered several days later.

The set is being released on a Friday, so delivery may get slowed down during the weekend…

Edit: I decided to switch my order to Amazon UK. Ships up to 4 days before Amazon US, and since it's closer (to Switzerland) it should be delivered in 24-48 hours instead of 48-72… if you add the fact that the UK set ships on Monday I may get it 5-7 days before my original US order

You don't have to cancel it, it will be automatically adjusted to the new price in few hours. And they only charge your credit card when they're ready to ship

i preordered back in March AND Im a Prime member (I chose free 2 day shipping) so Im a lil pissed that I wont be recieving on release day.

Depends on who you ask.

Without upgrading you'll 'only' get a lossy DTS core. I put only in quotes because a lot of people - myself included - think DTS core audio can be extremely good and can get awfully close to true lossless.

Other people will tell you the difference is night and day.

The difference is about 4Mbps average.

In my opinion you should upgrade a long time ago. The difference is really significant, you won't regret it.

X men first class was done today on release date. I sure hope it doesn't happen this way for SW.

Thanks, I figured with Prime it would've fixed itself, but since it's currently at its lowest price, I went ahead and cancelled/reordered to fixed the delivery date anyway.

I do, I'm really on the fence on this one. I want to see what reviewers have to say about it. I have a OPPO player and I really like the way my SW DVD's look on it and I want to see if its worth the upgrade.
