I agree...the release is fantastic. I really would have loved the same packaging as the Planet of the Apes / Mel Brooks sets because of the size, but it is well put-together. They could have done a lot with beautiful artwork on the bigger packaging. But I'm nitpicking. It's a great set.

Nothing carried over. Keep all four of those discs if you want the special features.

They rip on all the old commercials too, so you have to have the version with the commercials left in. Someone made a nice DVD format of it with this as an optional commentary track. You can find it online, if you know where to look.

It is, I am holding on to my ep 1 dvd knowing that it is the last of puppet yoda in that ep. it's such a big change too.

I would say yes, yes they do!

The complete contents of the first special feature disc is only 5 hours, so unles the other two discs have about 35 hours between them, then the commentry definately counts.

At least there aren't a ton of out of focus blurry shots like in Jedi. I don't mean from the transfer but the way it was shot!
