Oh these won't be in HD as I'm recording them on my DVD recorder but they should still be a hair above normal 480p considering the source.

Surely Indy has to come this fall?? Surely!!!
I've watched all three on sky movies in HD and they look absolutely sensational.

They're ready and good to go. Just need the Lucas nod of approval for release. There's no way they won't be out before Star Wars and if that's next fall then surely an indy announcement is imminent??

As for SW - I'm a little surprised they're not milking it for all its worth and releasing the prequels first, before the classic trilogy. As much as I enjoy the prequels and obviously want to own them, am I alone in wishing they were coming out in separate sets??

I'm a huge fan of the prequels, I actually like them more than the OT. However I believe the prequels probably wouldn't sell well at all if that trilogy came out first. It'll probably be a year or so after the initial release before we see the two trilogies get split up and/or individual releases.

There was a rumor of Indy being announced this weekend at the Celebration I think.

Of course, the rumor could have been incorrect and the actual was Star Wars instead.

I absolutely love Indiana Jones, probably my favourite movies of their type of all-time but I would much rather have Star Wars. Heck I'd even rather have that other Lucas film first, Willow.

Yeah, it was rumored. But I think today is the last day of the convention, and I assume Lucas would have announced that too if it was coming.

....unlikely though.

Since Star Wars is Fall 2011, maybe we'll see Indy for Spring 2011?

Yeah it could just be that he wanted to get the big announcement/shock out of the way first and then have the smaller shock/announcement the next day.

It would've slowed down the first act of the film. Plus it would've weakened the intros of both Luke and the green lightsaber in the theatrical cut. It's a great clip and I'm glad we've finally gotten to see it after nearly 30 years, but I'm glad it was cut.

Any time before Fall 2011 would keep them from "competing" with Star Wars.

There's no way Indy will take that long.

Spring 2011 (specifically April) is the best guess imo. Fall 2010 would be nice, but its already packed with great releases so I don't think they'd put it then.

Scott put Blade Runner out in December of 2008 so it's certainly not of the question.
