These rips are not from the blu-ray's.
It has been confirmed that they have fixed a lot of the issues from the 2004 release.

Has anyone watched these so-called leaks at the points where things were shown to be corrected? Like the ESB Wampa arm shot or the ROTJ saber cross? Those would give them credibilty as not just being HD TV recordings.

Until digital Yoda or any of the other mentioned fixes have been screencapped, I'll consider those shots fake, lol.

Well, clearly with that logic...

Unless YOU download them, you won't know if they're real or not. But I don't think we should just dismiss them because you don't believe it.

In fact, it's VERY easy to figure out if they're real or not: compare them to the HDTV rips.

At this point, it seems like all we have are screenshots of a hypothetical OT leak (with some evidence that it may actually be sourced from fake Blu-rays which have been around for some time), as well as a confirmed fake PT downloads (no digital Yoda). We're not quite there yet.

When true leaks become available, we should start seeing meaningful screenshots reasonably quickly, IMO.

Having Anakin in the PT as a spoilt petulant brat was enough for me. One of the reasons I didn´t like the PT all that much is that Anakin is such an unlikable character from the very beginning of the second film right to the end of the third film so you really don´t care that he falls to the dark side at the end of Revenge of the Sith. He has no real character arc in that sense (he´s bad right from the start so there´s be no real change/character development there) and the prequels trilogy is all the worse for it IMHO.
I can agree with that for about 85%, but is that because we ultimately know what happens with Anakin, in that we already have a preconcieved notion that Anakin turns out to be a Dark Lord of the Sith?

Nah, it's because "turning to the dark side" means "he's a hilarious douche and stays that way."

Well, since everyone here has denounced the Star Wars Moments website as being illigitimate, I guess it doesn't matter what that site has shown?

They still haven't fixed Beru's vintage '70s denim jacket and flaired collars.

Isn't this about the only scene Beru's in in the film? If so, why couldn't they have composited in a traditional Tatooine robe? or something that wouldn't scream "Hey, we made this film in the mid-'70s and wasn't thinking far enough ahead in our costuming department."

So don't assume that they don't treat the socalled "PT-Lovers" the same way they do everyone else.
So tell me, just when did you see Star Wars, TESB and ROTJ again? How old were you?

I've never even thought about that.

Interesting that people will complain about something like that...

I'd rather George didn't further tinker with anything from the original trilogy on Blu-ray. Not to open that can of worms again - I'm just a bit of a purist. At the moment, I'm pretty pleased with how things are going but the jacket is a minor point and should probably stay.
