- i think that the RED works great for the social network type films of the world but not yet convinced for 200mil event films.

double as weird were all the reviews talking about how great it looked... where do these people come from.

Did anyone check the BD Rips for the Humdinger glitch? We know that this has been one of the last changes.

Are there any other changes than Wickets eyes?

The saber is still green, less green, but still green.

Right when Luke switches it off, it's a pale green.

When Ben puts the Blast Helmet on, it becomes barely green, almost white

I'll stick to my Star Wars: Revisited and then replace the ESB and ROTJ when those Revisited versions come out. But like I said, set is still worth it for me due to the features and the PT.

As far as picture quality goes I’d rather have it not so good that we can see the fakeness or other impurities. (Like the first harry potter looks so fake on blu ray). I know people want perfect 5s for the video but I’ll take a strong 4 for the OT and POTM if it means it doesn’t look fake. What I’m most excited for is an amazing audio score with a good maybe not great HD picture. I’m sure ROTS and AOTC will be amazing on both. We need to be realistic on what to expect you can’t dress a turd up and call it something else. (Not calling star wars a turd it’s just an analogy)

We're still working on some shots for Empire Revisited. Be patient, it will be very good. And specifically it will have correct colors.

And like that hope was dashed. Dammit, Lucasfilm, these results would get you fired if you worked on the restoration of any other classic films. Probably going to cancel my pre-order. I have too many movies to buy this fall and winter to spend $80 on a piss-poor, half-assed product. Lazy is all it is. Oh yeah, they fixed the green lightsaber all right. They failed to realize that there are problems with the lightsaber throughout that whole scene. The problem is that Lucas approves shitty work that would get people fired in other businesses and companies. There is simply no quality control or sense of responsibility in Lucasfilm.

P.S. Those new EwoK eyes are freaky as ****! And in the scene inside the worm when Han falls into Leia you can see the black plastic that was put on the stage. You can also see it when Chewie is trying to get up the boarding ramp. How does this kind of stuff not get spotted after 34 years?!

This is the first time I have said it, because until now I was hoping this release wouldn't be a re-affirmation that Lucasfilm has some of the worst quality control outside of the Asylum Films studio. I have so far 11 other blu-rays to buy between now and January. This list will increase as more blu-rays are announced. I have bills and I have other things to spend $80 on. If Lucasfilm wants my money they have to show me through their hard work and dedication of delivering a quality product. This is not a quality product from what I am seeing here.

Hopefully, these videos turn out to be fake. The ewok eye blinks look "off" too.

Yeh, but to cancel a pre-order just because of this ONE thing? It is the only confirmed 'problem' with the release so-far, and I don't count the blue color timing since IMO it looks pretty good anyway, there is definitely no severe FOTR EE business going on here.

Guys at least wait for the final product to complain. It’s like someone finds out they are getting a free million dollars. Then when then they find out it’s only 900k they freak out and complain that they were lied to. Wow settle down
