To me it seems like that is how it would be, if you were looking from the front of a lightsaber. It would be brighter and more intense as you are looking directly at the core.

The reactions in here have been entertaining. Make no mistake - the same color issues are prevalent on these blu-rays as expected since they derive from the 2004 sources.

It seems those pointing out the flaws have been silenced by a louder majority of comments indicating that there is no problem, it's always meant to be that way, or it doesn't matter.

To those pointing to Lucasfilm's image of Luke on the MF with a blue lightsaber, remember that was a mock up. They put that up there to give an idea of what the changes would look like, but it's not a direct screenshot. Based on these leaks Lucasfilm marketing has done a good job of exaggerating the corrections since the color palette is essentially the same. ESB has a blue hue, and the movies still look a bit dark to me. But, that's me. You may see it differently and not have an issue. I respect your right to do so!

Could you check out the Vader/Luke duel at the end of Return of the Jedi and put up some screencaps so we can see whether the colour of Vader´s lightsaber is red or not?

Now that I think about, could you also check whether Vader´s lightsaber is consistently red in the fight with Obi-wan in Star Wars or does it constantly change colour like in the 2004 dvds? Screencaps of this scene would also be greatly appreciated!

What I find weird is that the screen caps taken from this rip don't seem as good as the footage in the Blu Ray trailer that was released when it comes to the saver colours, or is it just the quality of the pics?
