Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?

In Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope is the piss-awful shot of Han-Solo stepping over Jabba's tail still in there? Or is it fixed?

This companies quality control with these 3 movies has just been on a downward spiral since 1997.

Humdinger glitch - fixed. Did my best to get a shot

Falcon lightsaber - mostly green, with weird scattering/flickering on it. Doesn't look very good

Death Star explosion - looks good to me.

I have 1080p of New Hope now, only 720 for ESB(about 50% for 1080p) and ROTJ.

Don't know what color it is, but AFAICT, it doesn't look any different from my 2004 US DVDs.

It looks as though they did fix the blacks, but not much else:

DVD left, 720p right. The slight AR variation is probably my fault; the missing content on the right is Apple's.

Ahh well. At least it's only a minor flaw in a most perfect film!

Oh Christ... that's it. I'm out.

At some point, maybe George will decide to leave these films the **** alone.

What about the Luke/Vader saber cross in ROTJ? And also the Sarlaac pit - did that get tweaked, as far as that dumb "Little Shop of Horror" beak?

They must have fixed the Explosion at the same time they fixed the Humdinger glitch, because I saw the Trench Run sequence at Empire Big Screen a couple of weeks ago and the blue glow was still there then.

If he confirmed the correction of the humdinger glitch then it's the real deal since that was pretty much confirmed to be the last tweak to the Blu's.

I think its already been confirmed that the saber cross has been fixed. As for the Sarlacc pit, I think the ´beak´ is staying but some reports were talking about some other tweaks in that scene. Maybe they´ve given the Sarlacc eyes now and it blinks?

Yes Ben old buddy Lucasfilm has done it again. I jest of course, their quality control is second to none....

Thats going to be the new meme for LFL. I hope the Death Stars laser-eye blinks now.
