They've been OOP for years.

Being OOP doesn't mean you can't find them, it just means that whatever is left in the warehouse is it. Once they're gone, they're gone.

I would really love for Adywan or anyone else with similar resources and talent to verify this. Can they find ANY remote evidence of those words being there and just being drown out by the lightening in the previous versions? Somehow I doubt it.

No, you're a sycophant. Big difference.

They are OOP, but I don't think it's been for "years". I think they just went OOP within the past year, tops.

Capitalizing "creator" says a lot. Lucas sycophants think he's a god. If anyone else does it, it's wrong, but not him.

I'm looking at my 1992 VHS now (since this was from before the 1993 audio remix). If I can't hear it, I'll check the 1990 one, although I'm fairly certain they're the same tape

George Lucas is a genius! The media and internet coverage over all of this is giving the Blu-ray release a HUGE amount of publicity. More publicity than money could buy. I bet the Blu-ray sets sell like gangbusters. Folks that weren't all that interested will end up buying just to see what the fuss is all about.

The Star Wars Blu-ray release has gone viral!

They were OOP by the time the OT Box Set came out in 2008.

Capitalizing Creator is showing respect for the person and their work. It's not about seeing him as a God.

I'd do it for anyone, including individuals like Joss Whedon or Christopher Nolan who I find overrated and/or terrible.

Yeah, I may check mine, too, but assuming that it's so low that we can't hear it on standard home theater equipment, maybe Adywan or someone else knows of some way to 'manipulate' the audio to bring out anything that is very drowned out like that.

The post is funny enough but the fact that so many people don't seem to be tipped off by an entire paragraph about ice cream is freaking hilarious.

I saw them at a Costco not more than a year ago. I know because I had them in my cart and put them down because I couldn't support buying anything Star Wars.

Actually it's just grammatically incorrect. Not that I'm not guilty of grammar and capitalization errors myself at times, but there's no some kind of general rule of thumb that is recognized by most people that capitalizing the C in creator is a sign of respect for the person who created something. That's just a BS explanation that you pulled out of your rear end.

I miss when "A New Hope" was named simply Star Wars. I never liked the name A New Hope... probably the change I disliked the most. BTW Nice Laserdisc collection!
