Can you check if it is really regionfree? There should be an icon on the packaging.

Oh nevermind,... didnt know it was the Euro-Edition.

I'm sure the shops here in NYC already have it. I saw Thor and X-men yesterday. I just didn't bother to look for Star Wars.

It opens from the top, weird!!!

Can you show pictures of the booklet to see if it matches the US box inserts, and what the missing guide to the galaxy is? Thanks

It looks like the US edtion. It doesn't have the rating logos that appear on the UK discs, it is in English rather than German or Chinese or Japanese so I would guess it is the US box.

Time will tell...

EDIT: It took me so long to type this reply the answer already appeared in the thread.

I'll start watching them later today.

That's not carpet, actually. And certainly not in a store. Just check my other forum posts, I've posted a ton of pics with the same fabric behind it.

Yes, it is region free. I have a strong feeling that the discs will be 100% identical in the US, as is the case with many other Fox catalog releases (the Alien box set to mention one).

I watched the 'Nooo' scene and I must admit I was horrified by it. It was as if it was a jokey thing you find on youtube, in fact I hope it is and the films have been left unmolested and Geogie boy is just releasing these snippets as a joke

Can you do us a favor? Put Episode IV in, check the lightsaber on the MF. Don't really bother me, just curious. Thanks in advance!

The internals slides out from the side. What you see is just a "top hat" cardboard piece that extends down the back, with the specs.

To anyone else asking stuff about the set, I don't have time to go through it right now, I'll do it when I'm back later. Thanks.

You come into this thread and argue over every little bit of minutia, and then "don't bother to look for it" when you're at a shop you think might carry it

Well, leaking before getting cinavia is a word from the scene. They indeed mentioned that these are not ripped from the discs.

and: Evidently these are not actual retail BD ISOs. These are NOT ripped from the discs. Actual BDs' have Cinavia protection which is missing here. Chinese must have leaked these before discs were burned.

But the scene already has the actual retail discs and they are working to broke the protection. Estimation is something like 2-3 weeks.

No idea what they are talking about, don't read anything into it, as I said, I didn't believe what I said to be true Please DON'T start using this as false hope, it is likely they used the source file prior to burning discs. I am 100% confident the leaks are the finished product, lets not use this piece of information to start another 100 pages of pointless 'You don't know you haven't seen it yet' arguments. The comment I made (you know, caveated with I DON'T BELIEVE THIS TO BE TRUE) was in jest!!!
So these are not the actual finished product.
I knew LFL was not going to let us down.
People should rethink their cancellations.

I didn't bother to look because I wasn't interested in buying it early.

However, had the theatrical versions been included, I probably would have.

Again, you have to pay a premium at these stores. They sell them for MSRP. What would it matter?

I wouldn't expect you to buy them..... but figured you'd see if they were on shelves, and give a heads' up.... or fondle the packaging... I think packaging was a 50 page debate in and of itself

Well done Handy, you didn't read a single word of that post or previous ones did you??

The leaks are REAL, it is the finished product, what you have seen is what you are getting.

Do you seriously think it's going to be different? You guys are really kidding yourselves. It's going to be exactly the same as the leak.

That's what I want to see. The inside of the case. Please open and show how the disks are stored. I'm debating getting that rather than the US release.

If its just stacked digipak trays, wouldn't they crack easily?

Very cool. Congrats on the early grab. Probably some type of record for breaking street date!

I seriously can't wait for mine! Going to try and watch all six consecutively.
