CGI Yoda is absolutely stunning, really really good.
Just as I thought. Good to hear that.

I'm generally more interested about PQ/AQ. How's Sith? is it really almost as stunning as Avatar as some people claimed to be? They still use that old Fox fanfare in A New Hope, but does it still has that "tinny" sound?

I have never seen the Avatar Blu (didn't rate the film) so can't compare. Sith picture is stunning though.

Yes the old 20th logo is used and yes it sounds tinny. You get the new logo come up full screen before it though with quality sound. The old one is attached to the film.

Each film menu has different music from the relevant film and some awesone bass.

Neither the logo nor the dark blue rectangle behind it are stickers. They're printed as part of the artwork.

(Blasted nanny-state thinking!! )

Can anyone confirm if this is still the case? I guess we'll all be finding out next week.

As far as the screenies go, I will wait til they're posted here... don't trust any other site.
Yeah thats the correct packaging for US and UK. There are unboxing videos of the UK set available in the UK thread if you're intrested.

Is AOTC uncut or is the headbutt in the Obi Wan - Jango fight on Camino still missing?

Thanks...

Yeah, I agree that the choice of participants is a definite head scratcher.

I can't be certain (i have no reference) but Obi Wans beard in the elevator scene in AOTC looks pretty good as opposed to the obvious stick on before.

PQ of the OT and any easter eggs? You probably already know but try entering 1138 at various menu screens.

Small amount of visible grain on the opening of ANH, but not distracting. PQ was excellent for a '77 film. Yet to look at the others, and have only watched small snippets so far. Looks pretty stunning though.

Haven't tried 1138 on all menus yet, just put in the bouns disc for OT.

ANH bonus disc, archive fly through. You fly through the ranch complex and up to the doors of the archive storage. Well that is something to see.

He has seriously kept everything!!!

How would you rate the sound? Does it envelope you in the movie? How's the panning from front to back in 6.1? For example, in the opening of rots, r4 flies off of Obi's ship.. How's the dynamic range? Please review the audio in detail

Honestly, my surrounds have never been more active and the sub is growling like never before, even on the menus. It is stunning.

The star destroyer grabbing the blockade runner in ANH was totally enveloping from a sound stage point of view. Sounds coming from everywhere.

LOL, Dave prowse voice is still on the deleted scene. You get a little introduction slide telling you about it before the scene starts, but it is funny to hear it.

Darth widens his search

This footage of Darth Vader and an imperial officer includes original production audi - so that is Dave Prowses voice coming from Darth Vader. This footage was redubbed and used in the Star Wars Holiday special.

Deleted scene (this one) only in Dolby Stereo.

Thanks! I want this now!

I know you haven't really seen them whole, but somekind of early ratings of the PQ/AQ if you don't mind.

Yeah, everybody can tell that I'm super excited, maybe even more than our friend Ken.
