I know how you feel. Last week I watched ROTJ. Today I watched SW & TESB

Oh, and I also watched AOTC & ROTS a couple of days ago, only to watch TPM on the 16th lol.

I don't like the fact that there's no blu-ray banner at the top of the box. It makes it look too empty and doesn't look like a blu-ray box. I also wish that the discs had art on them, but I can live without it. Also, does anyone know if it's the same height as a normal blu-ray, or is it going to stick out majorly on my shelf?

Is the Vader JEJ voice in ANH the same as the 2004 DVDs? I know the voice was tweaked for the DVDs to sound more like the rest of the saga, but I was wondering if they had changed it even more.

That's one change I could get behind: Have James Earl Jones re-record all his dialog from ANH to match the rest of the films. No changes, just re-record.

There is a Blu-Ray banner at the top. But it's attached to the spec sheet on the back of the box.

Just don't remove the spec sheet and you'll have your banner still. Though I don't see the big deal if it doesn't have one.

It looks like it's the same basic proportions as the Aliens Boxset. Which I believe is a bit taller and deeper than the standard Blu-ray cases.

Think of it like a massive Digi-Book. Since those stick out from my shelves a bit also. But it's not really that big a deal.

Interesting. It never occurred to me that the taller figure behind Yippee Anakin on the box cover was Luke. I always assumed that it was Teen-Angst Anakin.

And that poster inside the back cover of the US set -- I can't look at it now without my eye going straight to Psycho-Leia. (How that particular piece of the artwork ever got approved, I have no idea! )

I haven't watched any of them in months, and it's killing me! I can't wait!

I'm pretty sure it will stick out majorly, it looks to be the same height as the Avatar collectors set, and Lord of the Rings EE.

I feel the same about TPM. Last time I watched it was in March. The DVD looked so crappy lol. Can't wait to see it on Blu-ray.

That would be just horrible. It would be impossible for him to deliver the lines the same way. Plus, his voice is 35 years older. He's 80 years old!

This is going to look soooo gorgeous next to the AA. Very excited!

My wallet got stolen last night, and it had a TRU gift card in it I was saving for this release. So, unfortunately, I now have to pay full price like everybody else.

I can't find that picture, but she almost looks like a Princess Leia/Salacious Crumb hybrid!

Someone here suggested unplugging the player from the internet. Well, I have a BDP-S270 and haven't been able to play the Planet of the Apes discs I recently purchased. I've been worried Star Wars would have similar problems as it's a 20th Century Fox release. Well, based on that suggestion, I unplugged the ethernet cable and BAM! The discs play! If the same thing holds for the Star Wars discs, I would definitely suggest removing the internet connection. I hope this helps!

It looks like it's the same packaging type as the Alien Anthology set, which I really liked, so I'm happy with that.

Looking at that U.S. unboxing, it seems they probably kept the disc art to a minimum so they wouldn't look so cluttered next to the art in the book pages. With character designs on there it would look very busy on each page.

Yeah, that's my guess. I'm thinking they only added the disc art for the UK release.... due to the Digistack.

The Complete saga it will be for me! What retailer has the best "bonus incentive item" for pre-ordering with them?

However, the Alien U.S. set (with the same book design) did have disc art and it doesn't look too cluttered too me. Maybe they got one complaint so changed it for this set.
