Heh. Very funny (sarcasm). Does Jake Lloyd's ghost appear at the end now instead of Christensen's?

Actually, there were the 24 standard cans (1-8 Pepsi, 9-16 Dew, 17-20 Diet Pepsi, 21-24 Pepsi One) and there were a few others. I have the 24 standard cans and the 2 Storm cans: Qui-Gon and Jar Jar. There were also the gold Yoda cans in each flavor. Never lucked out on any of those. I also have the Diet Pepsi Stormtrooper can from the 97 SE release.

Here is a link to all of them...

I'm sure many have seen this done to death (the scene from Downfall with new subtitles put in) but I laughed. If you're mad about the blu ray changes, than check this out! (There is adult language)

As much as I prefer trays over cardboard slots, that does not look like it will hold together years down the road.

Well, you should see the cardboard (especially the slots) years down the road.

Besides: if the tape ever gives out it can simply be fixed with new tape. Try fixing the cardboard properly when it rips, though.

That was my initial thought. Also having taken the set out from the slip box a few times, I find the edges of the cardborad get caught unless you put it back in a certain way, which could lead to damaged corners.

I've got 6-7 year old DVD sets that use the same taped together digistacks, and they hold together as good as new. Treat the packaging well, and it should last.

Maybe he was disappointed with the video quality because his version has 108p encodes instead of 1080p. I would be pretty down on them as well if that is what I was watching.

So is there any links for professional reviews from the UK about this release? I really don’t feel like sifting through 50 pages for them :P

Thanks!

Or is there a way to update the first post with updated links as they trickle in until Friday?

Don't you understand he is disappointed that the reviewer did not give it a crap rating and cause it's not the UOT.

I was more upset about DNR and digital looking grain. My problem with the changes has to do with effects consistency. It's annoying to see a hodgepodge of old and new effects.

But this won't stop me from buying the set day one.
