Amazon is epic about not showing shipping info on long ago pre-orders. Just use the tracking info that came in that e-mail.
I had a follow up post and went by the email and ONTRAC has the info.

I think it said I preordered in April.

the monkey frog added to jedi also looks stupid, fast forwarded to the vader addition and the nooooooooo kinda fits I guess. The change that bugs me is R2 behind the rocks. How the hell is he supposed to fit in there?

There are more like this on one of the snips there. I dont remember exactly where, but I picked up on it when watching the Spike marathon last week. Had to rewind a few times to make sure I saw it correctly. I had never noticed before and thought it was funny.

Ep. I should have gone something like this:
Qui-Gon and Obiwan find you Anakin on Tatooine after their Trade Federation ordeal, and then do a quick flash forward to his training as a teenager. At this time, Palps is already Chancellor and has detected Anakin's power with the Force. Calls on Darth Maul to acquire him to go to the Dark Side.

Ep. II would be somewhat similar to the actual movie, but cut out all the cheesy Padme stuff, and go right into the building of the Clone Army due to the apparent rise of the Sith backed by Trade Federation. Clone War starts.

Then most of Ep. III would be the Clone Wars...with Darth Maul turning Anakin to Dark Side and then fighting Obiwan.
Good thing you had no part in writting any of the films.

This is why you never turn your back-story into story. You start in medias res and go from there. All the back-story that you write that doesn't make it into the final cut was so you could make sense of your characters and story for yourself. It was never meant for the audience.

That's why the prequels were overbloated. Lucas was making his back-story into three films, when there was only enough there for a couple of smaller ones. But he set rules for himself (9 films broken into three trilogies) and for some reason refused to break them.

Setting rules is one of the worst things an artist can do to themselves. You're supposed to be breaking through the restrictions imposed on you by others and the medium you create in, not conforming to a bunch of limits you impose on yourself.

.
Yeah, I believe Lucas had a bunch of plot points: A - G - K - M - Q - Z (as an example) And he knew he had to hit them throughout the three films so he just filled them up with menutia to make 'complete' films (A-Z). Even if he had good scripts, he doesn't know enough to hire better directors (except for 4, 5) since he doesn't know how to hire or work with actors.

I don't plan on buying this. Mostly because of money reasons at the moment. May swing by my local Best Buy tonight and seeing if their doing any special midnight offers (for video games and I believe some movies they have a raffle for a free copy... couldn't hurt me!)

After rewatching Episode I and II on Blu-Ray I realise they're not as bad as I remember, sure they're not good movies and Jake Lloyd and Jar Jar suck to high heavens, but the movies are quite entertaining. They hold nothing on the original trilogy but they're entertaining anyway.

I got my set today. Preordered from walmart.com and they showed up today to my surprise. Problem is, Return of the Jedi and Empire Strikes back won't play on my main blu ray player. They play on my other one and my PC. Firmware is up to date. It's a panasonic blu ray player. Could it be the discs? I was thinking of swapping them out at the store with a new set, but somehow I don't think it's the discs since they work on other players. Suggestions?

Maybe Lucas thought R2D2 still had jets to maneuver his way around.

How else does he get in there. Someone use the audio commentary for that part and see if they addressed it.

Funny how that cool deleted scene of Luke and his lightsaber in Jedi wasn't inserted into the movie, but all this useless stuff was changed. Assbackwards thinking.

Wow...

For some reason, 1662 pages of bickering, arguing, baiting, name-calling, trolling, insulting, insulting my intelligence, insinuating, instigating, and absurdity doesn't bother me one iota... but reading 30 pages of "Mine shipped!" "Amazon says _____!" "Amazon just shipped mine!" "Amazon still hasn't shipped mine. " "Mine is stuck in 'canceled' and hasn't updated!" "Mine just arrived!" "Mine will arrive in 45 minutes!" is absolutely nauseatingly annoying. I dunno why, maybe I'm crazy.

Does anyone want to fight about the PT/OT? Maybe talk about Hayden Christensen vs Mark Hamill? UOT versus AOT?

Obi Wan uses the force and places the rocks there to help conceal R2D2 so he can't be spotted as easily. Simple as that
