So I was debating getting each trilogy separate (box art and general look), however finding that the complete saga has more, I need to get that one.

Cannot wait to pick it up at midnight at Walmart. If listed at 89.99, Ill have my Best Buy ad to price match

Add a light beam coming out of R2's "eye-piece" and you can explain the new rocks are holograms ala Princess Leia's recorded message.

knowing how LucasFilm handles projects, "Ewok Adventures" will be released with a new 8k scan from the original elements and seamless branching of the new release and the theatrical release.....

They will just do it because they can...

Why not go through the entire Saga and see how many elements have been cloned, reused etc. The appear out of nowhere TIEs in Jedi are an element used twice. It's a VERY common technique used in pretty much every effects film and all kinds of digital editing.

To those who are getting it in the morning at Best Buy, they are opening at 8am two hours earlier than usual for the launch of the HTC EVO 3D. Perfect timing for me, i get out of work at 7:30am.

Future release, lol!
Yeah...I was kidding but it is a better angle than just seeing it vanish.

Mine arrived today courtesy of Deep Discount. They have been impressing me lately with their prompt shipping. I still don't like the packaging... spendy Blu-Ray discs shouldn't be jammed into sleeves, no matter how fancy the sleeves are supposed to be. A couple of the discs on my "Alien" set (with identical packaging for those who don't know) had marks on them. Luckily they all played fine.

Man this thread moves fast. I made a joke that was made by others before me. Aw, well. We kid 'cause we love.

I'm still getting the Saga set tomorrow despite all that's wrong, and just enjoy the ride.

I've watched A New Hope and Empire and I must say that with all the changes, yoda and han solo sure do make up for the dumb crap. I dont regret getting this set now, ya I wish I could have the originals but this certainly satisfies me for now.

I agree with the call that all these posts going "omg mine is shipping, it says it will be here in 24 hours" crap is nauseating

So to break the mold. I have now watched Episiode one from my set bought yesterday! And I agree it is rather scrubbed looking however I love everything about it. And this movie alone pays for the money I spent.

This will be the first time I've ever watched 1-6 in order. And just this start point was great. I felt the hightened immersion of the 1080p. The 6.1 sound being of such clarity - that even the political jargon seems to be gripping.

There is a subtle sort of form to the acting and sets which you see with the greater detail that moves the story in less of a cut-scene way than I used to see in the film. I used to agree with people who said it was a CGI-fest above anything else but now I feel it just 'works'. The environments blend well with the story and the laser gun and jedi stuff is more impactful visually and less cheesy like a cartoon.

I never saw it theatrically but for the first time I actually felt and saw something deep in qui-gon's death fight. Which was surprising since it used to have little to NO impact on me.

Going to watch AOTC on the weekend and hope the Redlettermedia panning review hasn't soiled that movie for me forever..lol

Too bad you can't get to the special features unless you buy the complete saga with the horrid prequels. I dug Darth Maul but his unjustly limited screen time in the Phantom Menace doesn't justify owning that garbage of a movie, IMO....AT the current price. If the saga goes as low as 40 bucks on Black Friday, I may bite the bullet and get it. I'll gladly wait.

Bought AT Walmart? Was it the same price as online? I don't have a Best Buy catalogue on hand so I'm hoping when i go tonight i don't have to try and haggle them down if it is $10 more than online.

Totally retarded that the same company can have a price differential like that as well. I don't get how that works, oh well. Here's hoping its a non-issue!
