It's sort of sad that everyone is starting out with the worst film after getting this. I thought people would be starting with the original trilogy after all these years. But starting out with The Phantom Menace?

Now that people have their actual discs, can we confirm that the lightsabers have been fixed / still stuck in the OT? I have been planning a very long process of fixing them myself (just a hobby for when I'm bored). However, I did have the hope that the torrent vids showing Vader's pink saber in ESB and RoTJ, and Luke's white/greenish saber in ANH were pre-release, and the actual shipped discs had them fixed.

The review on this site said they looked good, but that doesn't jive with the leaks. Anybody with the actual discs want to comment?

Every time I go through star wars it's in this order:

IV - V - VI - I - II - III

After a few minutes of haggling, they gave it to us for $79.96. They said that it might drop on it's own in a few minutes.

The Boba Fett poster is 23" x 35", a lot bigger than I expected. They only had about 20 or 30 of the posters laying out. I'm not sure if that's all they had or not.

Sorry, I don't have a camera phone.

About to put in The Phantom Menace.

Hell yea!

OMG! Wilkes-Barre Walmart!! AHHHHHH

Only two of us there and they rolled out an AT-AT floor display. No complete set but 100 or so of the $13 Lego Bd and a few dozen of the two trilogy sets. The two 'display-moving' guys talked for a few minutes about where they are supposed to put the display, movies or toys.

We ask for the complete set and are told they probably don't have it if it's not on the display. Thankfully they went to check after suggesting that they have to have it. No mistake in logic there! 10 minutes later and the guy brings out a handful of them and says he found them mixed in with 1000s of the Lego BD. Then he asks us if the BD set is the wrong item and assumes we wanted the dvds instead ....

It was $79.99 btw. Wonder why certain stores are coming up different.

Was the only person at my Wal-Mart that price matched for $79.99. Otherwise the thing was around $98 thanks to TN taxes!

The main menu on TPM is in DD 5.1, but it was thunderous. After that, the 20th Century Fox fanfare played, in 5.1 DTS-HD MA! Luckily, once the actual movie started, it was 6.1 discrete. Whew!

So, enough of this inane back-and-forth of when people will get their copies/when they shipped out/when they'll be on your doorstep/when you'll watch them/what order you'll watch them in/what shelf they'll be on/what food you'll eat as you open them/etc.

Does anyone have any direct screencaps of the BD OT compared directly with caps of the OT HDTV versions (for any of the 3 movies)? Multiple caps of all three would be the shit. I have yet to see a single one.

I'd ask for caps of the Prequels but as films they're horrendous pieces of garbage and I don't think any reasonable person would care.

Yeah Walmart sucks when it comes to putting new Blus. What I hate is when you call up there to see if they have something, they supposedly go look and come back and say no. Then you go up there yourself and there it is, then again I suppose if I had to put up with the crap wages they make I wouldn't give two shits about my job either.

I think I saw some OT screencap comparisons a few pages back, but it's hard to find anything in this thread. I think Duffy12 posted some.

I'm watching TPM... I know, I know..., it looks so much better than the DVDs, but it is a tad bit soft. The audio is phenomenal.

By the way, I'm eating chicken.

So people who like the Prequels are now "unreasonable".

Way to insult thousands of people there.

just two people showed in Wilkes-Barre? My brother and I were going to see the craziness in the Hazleton Wal-Mart but decided against it. We both pre-ordered from Amazon and they should be here tomorrow. I was expecting a big crowd but if there wasn't one on WB then definitely not here.
