It's one Blu-ray case with 3 discs with a slip case. That's what it looked to me.

Yes, it's one case, but you don't get the three bonus blu-rays unless you buy the complete saga.

Watching The Phantom Menace right now. Went in to P/U the complete saga @ Future Shop this morning, and was one of only two people there @ 08:00 when they opened so not only did I get the special "mini lightsaber" bonus, but I WON the Darth Maul force FX lightsaber!!!!
This will be a day long remembered...

I'm watching these in the order they were released theatrically, so I started off with A New Hope. Was very impressed with the audio and video quality. Can't wait to get to the best of the series, Empire.

Awesome. If you buy another Maul lightsaber you can put them together for the double sided lightsaber. This is what I did when they were released back in 2005. They are actually sitting in my storeroom at the moment.

You guys can celebrate now, but I'll do the same two (or seven) years from now when George Lucas gives the UOT the Blu-Ray treatment!

I just got back from Target and some errands. No spiders (you'll know them when you see them), which is one thing I like about this particular Target, they don't use them all that often. Coupon card (cardboard, credit card sized) was sent out to patrons of a particular store I go to from time to time, they were "under construction" for a bit to move everything around to make it look like some of their other stores (gawd knows why). The coupon was $10 off $75+ good thru next week sometime, so perfect timing. It worked out to about $75 out the door. And they weren't online or anything, and possibly individually coded.

There were two copies (left?) in the rack at around 8:30, and as I was walking away with one of them I remembered about the lithos, but they hadn't located them yet and were in the midst of their early morning meeting so I got the impression that wasn't going to happen any time soon. Not that big a deal to me, I recall getting a few SW lithos several years ago from Best Buy when one of the last three came out, maybe the last one, and they were nice and all (and fairly large (11x14?)), but in the end just one more thing that I've stored away in some box somewhere. (Edit: looks like I didn't miss much.)

Lucas has even said in various DVD extras and other places he doesn't intend to replace the puppet Yoda from ESB or RotJ.
I really wish he would... or at least enhance it with CGI.

I like your idea. I really do. Very Lost-ish with the flashbacks.

Let me offer one change:

Watch 4 and 5, set 1 and 2 on fire*, watch 3, then 6

*In a safe manner, like in a BBQ pit

Or, watch 4 and 5 and then ask someone to tell you what happened in the rest. Because their description can't be much worse than the movies themselves.

I certainly wouldn't mind a few digital touch-ups, but Yoda holds up surprisingly well.

I went to Wal-Mart Midnight Release Party. I WAS THE ENTIRE PARTY. And I didn't even get a Boba Fett poster.

I've been trying to find some, but with no luck yet. It would be cool if you could put in RotS and click '66' - 'enter' and get an all new, made for blu-ray THX Optimizer. I need to try that!

I just skimmed through some of the discs last night, right now I'm going to sit down and watch TPM all the way through, and try to compromise the structural integrity of the house!

May the Force be with us all, everyone.

Yeah, the base is probably ok, but some of the facial expressions and eyes could be more natural and less muppet like.

I'd rather spend a mere $79 now and do both.

Master, if we keep this chase going any longer that creep is gonna end up deep fried. And personally, I'd very much like to find out who he is, and who he's working for. This is a short cut... I think.

Attachment is forbidden. Possession is forbidden. Compassion, which I would define as unconditional love, is essential to a Jedi's life. So you might say, that we are encouraged to love.

When I'm around you, my mind is no longer my own.

I killed them. I killed them all. They're dead, every single one of them. And not just the men, but the women and the children, too. They're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals. I HATE THEM!

WITH LINES LIKE THESE, WHO COULDN'T LOVE THE PREQUELS?
Yeah, my wife's gonna love me watching these again. I think they drive her crazy, but I'm not sure as pretty much anything I watch these days seems to have the same effect. That and it's rare when she wants to watch a movie she's already seen. (NCIS on the other hand, or Stargate... neither of which do much for me, over and over and over.)

Lol , There as about six of us, it took awhile for the employees to get out the displays and the first rack didn't have the complete sets. Once the woman opened the box with them , she handed it to us. i didn't see any posters and wasn't going to wait for god knows how long it would of taken.
