Bothers me sooooooooo much!
I don't see why not (regarding making Star Wars Episodes VII-IX). We already have the equivalent of The Mother of Mona Lisa, which is the Prequel Trilogy. Couldn't ruin the Star Wars brand any more than the PT did (along with the OT changes), anyhow.

I know I will get a ton of heat for saying this, but Episode I is a great film. Maybe Jar Jar and Jake were annoying, but there are far greater things going on. The final lightsaber battle with Obi, Qui and Maul just might be one of the best in the entire saga. The pod race was great. Mace Windu. Yaddle...okay so her role was only off to the side on the Jedi council, but still cool to see another Yoda species. There are some excellent action scenes in general.

I may be in the minority here, but I will defend Episode I.
I don't care how much heat I take on it either I am with you and I will defend all of the PT films and I find them as good as the OT, and as most can tell the Star Wars movies are my favorite movies of all time. I really don't engage or debate fans about the merits of the PT because it becomes you are wrong, I am right battle and I no longer will debate with some people. I don't need to waste my energy debating with idiots who don't understand that film is subjective and their is no right or wrong, and a opinion does not constitute a fact or a truth!

What's so funny about it? Lucas thought he still had it, but only 50% of his talent remained by the time the prequel trilogy was made in my opinion. Blind fans follow whatever he does without question. True fans can think for themselves and openly question when they don't like something. A true fan can still enjoy having and watching all six but because they like it, not because Star Wars is stamped on the disc.

You are not alone, I like it much better than AoTC, to be honest.

Wrong. Parts 1-6 are Lucas' Mona Lisa. There is no need for another trilogy that follows ROTJ.

What the heck are you guys doing posting so much? Not watching the movies?

So started at 9 am and I did a good run on the special features, there is quite a lot to see. I took a small break about 50 minutes ago and went for a walk and just got back in. It's now time for the movies. Like I said before, I will start with A New Hope since I am really curious to see it first and slowly make my way down the series.

I hope everyone is having as much fun as I am?
It's because I'm not home from work yet. They're sitting there waiting for me.

There are filmmakers out there who'd sell their souls just to have 50% of Lucas' talent.

No, he's not perfect. Chances are, you wouldn't be, either, as a filmmaker.

How was it packaged?

Mine got delivered today from Amazon as well. I'm anxious to see when I get home.

Anyone else received damage from Amazon?
It was packaged in one of those wrap-around mailers. It had to be a heat/temp related issue I would think. CS at Amazon was great as always, should have a new set tomorrow or Monday.

The pod race scene is one of my favorites in all of the series. Love the audio of Sebulba's props.... Great scene.

after your first viewing, if you enjoyed them all then it's fun to do 1-6.
Yeah, starting with Episode I would be a bit like watching X-Men: First Class without any prior knowledge of X-Men.

Not that again. The whole I can't criticize because I've never done what they do. That's a bunch of crap.
