Not really a hidden Easter egg but for those wondering about the holiday special I thought I'd point it out.
For those who have never seen the special, they're gonna wish they never found it once they watch it.

So what are you selling? I might be interested in some stuff. You can PM me with what your selling and maybe we can do some business.

So how many of you are keeping the special feature discs from the DVD releases? Seems like there isn't much overlap between the DVD special features and the blu ray stuff.

If you listen closely to the computer blips backgrounds during some scenes on ep IV (i.e. the death star control room they break into after being towed in), the pattern is almost musical.

This DTS HD MA soundtrack almost makes this a new movie! They've definitely done a lot of work on this soundtrack (adding new audio effects?).

I had Phantom on and when I unpaused or skipped scenes I got a huge audio burst that rattled my speakers. Scared the crap out of me as well.

The audio dept. is definitely what this set has going for it. I can't find the quote anywhere, but I know Lucas has said before that audio plays a bigger part than the video. I've always felt the same. A New Hope nearly brought me tears with the immersive audio.

I must say I'm impressed! I really like the way 4-6 looks and sounds. I will say that I'm annoyed about the changes GL made. 1-3, well TMP does suffer from DNR but sounds great and AOTC, looks and sound good. ROTS sounds and looks great.

Good lord! I hope it's just that my aging Panasonic dmp-60 needs a firmware update, but this audio hiccuping (skipping) is unbearable.

That sounds like a aurabesh tractor beam type fix due to there should not be English yelled out from all those aliens.

Makes sense now.

Basically put, Blu-ray is evil for any film with fewer than ten explosions. Or not directed by Michael Bay.
The guy who wrote that article is a complete Jerk!

Yes, and thanks for posting that! My kids have never seen it, so now I won't have to go looking for it.

I think they changed the sound of the Millennium Falcon's engine to be more inline to that of the ship engine sounds in the prequels.

I'm keeping the 2nd disc from Episode's I, II, & III, along with the bonus disc from the Original Trilogy Box Set.

I wish all of the special features were placed on a 10th disc so we could just throw the DVD's out. There is no reason for them not to be on this Blu ray release.

That is the only fault I really find with this release. Everything else is super.

Well, just got back from Best Buy. I had ordered it for in store pickup earlier in the week. When I walked in the display at the front of the store was empty and I was glad that I had preordered. I walked to the back and they still had a ton of them. They also had about 5 shirts left. I guess customers didn't know that they could get the shirt FREE with the purchase of the saga.

So I will start digging into it tonight!
