If you're going to watch the Holiday Special, you have to get the Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett, Kevin Murphy Rifftrax:

I just got home from Best Buy. Held the set in my hand and just put it back. I just cannot justify the price when I know it will be <$50 black Friday.

So I will start digging into it tonight!
Make sure you wear the shirt while you watch them. It somehow makes the movies even better.

I think I have a bad copy of the movie, meaning the discs are the issue.

I'm getting the same problem on another setup, it is a gaming rig but easily capable of Blu-Ray:

CPU: Intel C2Q (EO) Q9550 @ 3.56ghz 1.32V (8.5x419mhz) 5:6
GPU: eVGA NVIDIA GTX 480 @ 880/1760/4000 (24/7) @ 1125mV
LCD: BenQ FP241W 24" P-MVA LCD (1920x1200)
Mobo: BioStar T-Power i45 AA512
Sound: Auzentech X-Fi Prelude
RAM: OCZ Reaper 4x2Gb DDR2 @ 1005mhz 5-5-5-15
PSU: Corsair HX 750W 80+ Silver 62A
Drive: LG Blu-Ray/HD-DVD Drive GGC-H20L
UPS: Cyberpower CP1200AVR (720W)
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Pro x64

I'm going to upgrade my video drivers just to make absolutely sure, but with 2 completely different setups that are all HDCP status on both, I'm leaning towards a bad set of discs.

My Best Buy had a ton of each set left, walked in and out with my copy.
Stopped reading after this: Because as you dip into the allure of chasing the ever-crisper (to the point of unnatural) image, you start to undermine the only truly valuable thing at work in the entire industry: the film itself.

If you don't know what you're talking about, keep quiet. I know Lucas has used CG to add extra detail in places, but that statement was about 1080p HD in general.

Walmart Employee: It's just $79.99 for pre-orders and in-store pickup.
Me: But I've talked to people who have paid $79.99 for it.
Walmart Employee: Not from here. It's $98.xx
Me: Do you price match? It's $79.99 at Target and Best Buy.
Walmart Employee: Oh, okay. It's $79.99

!?!?!?!
Mine rang up $10.00 too high, too. I told the checkout lady it was advertised at 79.99, she went and checked, came back and knocked off 10.00 without hassle. The employee at your Walmart got it wrong, but at least you ended up with the right price.

My local Walmart is completely clueless. They have a very small blu ray selection, and often at least 1/3 of the slots will be sold out and they won't restock them until they replace it with a different movie. Meanwhile, they'll have some ridiculous Tyler Perry movie on DVD taking up 3 slots and they're always full like nobody touches them. On top of that, I didn't get to Walmart until about 10:30 today, and they didn't even have the Star Wars blus on the shelves yet! I had to ask for one out of a box. They're clueless.

When he says unnatural, it makes me wonder if he's watching on a TV set that has a motion enhancer enabled. Because the image being crisper and clearer does not make it look unnatural. LOL!

I was really on the fence with this because I really didn’t like the changes however I went ahead and got it anyways. I have only started going through the special features and I must say I am really impressed. I personally like the packaging and the artwork and the layout of the special features which makes it easy to navigate through. I can’t wait to watch the movies on my surround sound system. This is def a must own even if you were upset with the changes that were made.

I was just browsing through Episodes I and II and wow!! the PQ is phenomenal! And the audio rocks too! I also really like the packaging, I don't know what people are complaining about. It looks like they put a lot of hard work into this set and I couldn't be happier.

Btw, the CGI Yoda in Ep I is such a welcome change.

I've had the set since 11:30 this morning but haven't gotten to watch any of them yet. About to start in on them though, as Bart Scott would say..Can't wait!

They are full size busts and a Darth Vader collectible from Sideshow Collectibles. They even made gorgeous life-sized R2D2 and C3PO's...but they were about $6000 EACH!!
